We dropped in here for fish and chips on our way up the M1 (it’s at junction 28) - and what a gem! Good service, good sized portions and absolutely delicious food. Strongly recommended.
Absolutely amazing... I pop in every Saturday for a cone of chips (2.00) what an amazing price, and the best part is you get a good deal of chips for what your paying.. and they have got to be the most nicest chippy chips I've had in ages... love the staff aswell, Always greet you when you walk in.
Always nice fish and chips, I visited the other week and it was closed no idea why, Google said it was open no signs, nothing on their website
It's been 20 years or so since I last visited here , thought we'd give it a go as we were in the area. Fish is spot on , it's not lost its charm over the years
Good portion sizes, as everything now can be expensive. Expect a long queue at busy times.
Bit pricey BUT! You get what you pay for top quality chips rather pay more for a decent meal
Was at my brothers with the family for the evening and we decided to have chips, me bro suggested this place and I've got to say it was some of the best chips I've tasted, only prob it was really busy....which just shows how good it is.
Really good chip shop and very good service
All ways popular and useualy a waiting to be served for excellent fish and chips
Great quality food and lovely people serving....
Best chippy in village, lovely staff
excellent fish and chip huge portion and amazing value for money this must be the smallest fish and chip shop I've been in but my word the quality of food was outstanding and the price put all others to shame well done only issue was its a bit iffy to park the car as its very busy here
What a stunning little chip shop tuck away, yet the food was delicious and beef and onion gravy was worth going all this way again.. well done and we wasn't expecting this quality
Monday night special fish chips. £5.50 the dogs knees. You will. Not be disappointed small chippy
Top notch food. I had an excellent cheeseburger and chips for £2.50, portions were generous and the food was fresh. The only bad thing was that the service was not the quickest but with all the Covid precautions in place, that's understandable. Very handy, just off the M1 at junction 29.
The staff was lovely, the food was great and the prices shocked me as it didn't cos much at all
Eaten here a number of times and it is always high quality and delicious. The steak gravy is very tasty. Its very popular (because it is good) so expect to wait a little but it'll be worth it.
I have found a chip shop which is better than leadbrooks chip shop, the chips are almost cooked to perfection, the fish is well cooked, juicy and with a fair batter coating. The chips have a good chip shop taste to them and aren't cooked for lengthy periods of time. The sausages are tasty too withou
