Good food and friendly bar person. Arrived at 3.50pm so wasn't sure if chef was cooking but yes they did and great food. Dog friendly too and beautiful seating out area to the rear of inn. Car parking too at the back of inn

Went to the George to watch and listen to the La Di dahs and the dancers who were all part of the 40s weekend in Alford. Great time spent there still time for you to pop along and enjoy it too.

Very friendly welcome. Landlord took time to have chat. Plenty of parking and a lovely outdoor area with a few of the church. Play area for children. Would definitely call in again.
Very nice local pub, the landlord is very friendly, made us all feel very welcome, they have adequate parking at the back, a nice outdoor seating area, we have a pushchair and the landlord was at the door to help us without asking. We had a very pleasant evening. Thank you

Popped in for a coffee whilst on my lunch break and the landlord couldn't do enough for me,pub was spotless and locals were friendly,I looked at the food prices and thought everything up there was a good 3_4 pounds cheaper than Lincoln. I would definitely go back there for a meal if I'm in the area.
A lovely welcoming old fashioned pub! The food was lovely, the landlord was very helpful and friendly. There was a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We were kept entertained by a lovely bunch of children who behaved so well. We wish you well in your new venture- keep it up! We'll be back.
