Mai Thai - Alexandria - Photo album

Right on the edge of the river this Thai restaurant offers patio, inside, and upstairs (inside) seating. We opted for upstairs for the view. 😍 The wait staff was quick and relatively attentive, but not overly friendly. We ordered spring rolls and a honey chicken to share. The food was out quick and
Wonderful location. I was there on a Saturday night and they were packed. They still were able to seat me quickly. I only ordered a soup and salad. The soup was very good. I was very disappointed in the salad. It had sliced beef on it which was almost inedible. I should have returned it. The service
We were in Old Town Alexandria and our regular places were too busy for us. We found this place with outdoor seating and still open! We started with some sake, a margarita and some awesome dumplings! Then the avacoda salad! Then we had the special shrimp and scallops! Really everything was perfec
Enjoyed dining at Mai Thai - Massaman curry is a standout, highly recommended. Good seating arrangement and attentive service. Worth a visit when you are in Old town. No parking close by, need to walk at least 5-10 mins.
- food was good, everything was fresh and had a good flavor. The Thai tea was super good as well. - staff were friendly and the service was quick. - place get really busy. - prices are normal for the area. - parking in old town in general is a pain but you can find it pretty close to this locati
Overall, it was a good place for dinner. It’s a typical Thai restaurant but it’s right by the river which is really nice. Good portions. The prices are very reasonable for the location and the fact that we were eating with a river view. The staff is friendly and very accommodating without being
We really enjoyed our meal here. The location right by the water was great, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the good weather. The food was delicious, with no complaints about any of the dishes we tried, it maybe wax a little less spicy than other Thai food I’ve had, but still very tasty overa
Really good Thai spot - a must try. Dishes: Drunken Noodles, Larb Gai, Cashew Chicken and Calamari. We wouldn’t order the calamari pretty average. The drunken noodles and Larb were the two highlights. The medium spicy is perfect. The cashew chicken wasn’t traditional, but was very tasty. Overall g
Everything I had was exceptional and very authentic. Crab puffs, crunchy noodles, and chive dumplings highly recommended. Nice atmosphere, and bar.
We had a spectacular food experience; nicely cooked food and prepared at the spicy level we are accustomed to eating Thai food at. Its location is axiomatically wonderful being located where it is. If only the attending staff were a little bit more attentive Mai Thai would have easily generated a 5-
My large portion of Panang Chicken Curry was delicious and very reasonably priced at $13.95. The Thai Iced Tea was expensive at $6.95, reminding me that I should have asked how much it was before I ordered. Great service. Located across the street from the Torpedo Factory.
You go here for the view! Great options for even vegetarians. We got the mango salad, vegetable gyoza and tofu drunken noodles. The noodles were very chewy and yummy. The prices were high though, but I guess you pay for the view. The servers were very nice and helpful.
Delicious duck, peanut tofu, crab egg rolls, and cocktails. Fantastic location by the waterfront and speedy table service. Will be back to try more delicious bites.
Great food served by a very nice waiter;I will repeat the visit as we couldn’t try all the dishes!!!
First time here. Food was pretty good. Plenty of outside seating. Great location for a view of the water and people watching. Would recommend arriving early to avoid having to wait for a table. Service was good. I saw other reviews saying service was bad. That was not my experience. Everything we or
