We were staying overnight up the road on our way to Mull and after 2 years of leaving Scotland were desperate for decent fish & chips, just can't find anything down South. We weren't disappointed the chips were chunky & juicy, the fish flaky & delicate. Fantastic value too, large & small fish supper + mushy peas under £15, amazing!! Portion size huge!! Two portions of fish for the large supper. Sitting here contently stuffed :)
Ordered our tea on line from here tonight. Had a special large fish supper. I couldn't believe how big this fish supper was. The fish and chips was lovely with the fish having no bones. I will definitely be back the next time we are down here on holiday 👌

Ordered at 7.40pm on a Friday, delivery said it would take 40 mins which I thought was very good at (presumably) peak time. He was with us very slightly early, smiling and polite.
The food was hot, fresh and well cooked. Tasty chips, the large fish was extremely generous. The haggis and black pudding pakora selection was excellent and a cheap way to taste some of Scotlands more infamous deep-fried goodies!

The food is so good, delicious actually. It arrives hot and dead on time, with a hefty portion sizes, and at a really fair price too. The chips and sausages are tasty, and their pasta dishes are outstanding and very fresh with just the right amount of bite.
I wish we'd tried this place ages ago. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly and the drivers are great, finding my place no problem.
I 100% recommend 'Ernies plaice' it's an absolute diamond.
Earnie's is always good. Continued standard of well cooked quality food that never dissapoints. Try the battered chicken half. It is really good. The staff take pride in producing good batter. This is something that can be sorely lacking these days. I am grateful that I can recommend this Sgoinneil Chippy.
Had an issue with Apple Pay the boss came on the phone and told me another way to order which was faster and you get 10%discount (very helpful) delivery driver was a lovely guy and wood came very quickly, the food was beautiful, chips were fresh, bad is I like my chicken wings a bit crispier, but i didn’t specify so my own fault.would recommend!!!!!
Friday night arrival with the caravan in Balloch, it's got to be fish and chips. Picked the one with the best rating, and wasn't disappointed. The fish was crisp and the 'Large' size involved two good sized fillets. The sausage supper was, again, generous, with two sizeable sausages in batter. Reasonable price, friendly staff, and obvious COVID-19 measures in place.
Tasty food, good portions great price and friendly staff. Three different dishes on three visits whilst holidaying in Loch Lomond we be going back on our next holiday.
Very happy with the service and food, I would recommend this to anyone visiting Loch Lomond.

Every food order we've had from Ernie's has been delicious. Fresh food, top quality. Pizzas are absolutely wonderful, best pizza place around this area.
Tried for the first time tonight will definitely be going back fish was delicious and for once the chicken nuggets were eaten. Meal was lovely and hot when it arrived on time 👍🏻👍🏻
