The Bell Inn Aldworth - Aldworth - Photo album

Quite literally one of the best pubs in England and it has been run by the Macaulay family for over 250 years. The landlord and staff are always welcoming, and the beer is always on form. Grade 2 listed interior, lovely beer garden. And a big selection of rolls are available with generous filling
Love this place. For me the best pub in the UK! Friendly service. A decent selection of ales at a good price. Didn't eat this time but the rolls are amazing. Lovely garden or watch the world go by out the front. Perfection!
Lovely unspoilt old school pub with very friendly landlord and staff. Serves hot rolls with ham, cheese, prawns pickles and onions etc and really good local beers. It’s how pub were when I was a child before they were turned into restaurants. Nice beer garden too and local walks on the downs and rid
The pub and the staff were absolutely lovely, and we really enjoyed sitting outside while the chicken was pecking from place to place, BUT the pictures were taken moments before someone’s dog chased and bit the chicken, putting feathers everywhere. People got really upset, myself included and unfort
What a delightful and quintessential English pub. Beer, no lager, superb filled rolls. It is a rare gem in this corporate age.
Had a lovely pint of the locally brewed "Five Giants" which warmed us up on our chilly bike ride. Great atmosphere inside and outside the pub. Lovely location.
A most unusual pub in the most fantastic setting. Warm crusty rolls and delicious ales. It's an outdoor pub with limited seating indoors but that doesn't deter anyone who enjoys the beautiful countryside.
Amazing little find , sells ploughman’s and rolls but the rolls are amazing and prob not to every ones taste I had salmon and bri , We also had steak and Stilton And corned beef and cheeses all were fab , great for a light lunch
Haven't been to the Bell for 40 years and all I remembered was the atmosphere and delicious rolls that were served. Why change something so good, to my surprise it was just the same and as good. Brilliant will be going again soon
Popped in for a quick soft drink on a very hot day. We sat in the garden, relaxed on our bench, and enjoyed the atmosphere. We saw the food come out, and were very tempted. Next time...
Best pub for miles around. Great food, great beer and a lovely beer garden to sit in. Please do and make a visit if you're I. Aldworth. You will not be disappointed.
Awesome. Don't come here expecting a noisy sports bar. The Bell is a wonderful time capsule reminding us what village pubs used to be like in a bygone era. Come here for the best beer in the area. Come here for fresh hot crusty rolls featuring and showcasing proper food. Thick sliced ham, beautiful
Great traditional pub, large range of locally brewed beers, a good selection of rolls to eat, the pub garden is fantastic, plenty of tables and a quiet location
The Bell is a great pub ,it's like stepping back in time , the way pubs were and should be, great beer great food , and a lovely landlord. What's not to like ."proper job" ii
One of the best Pubs in the whole of England, amazing people come around and lovely British ales. You will meet people coming there from their teenage. :)
Lovely warm welcome today at The Bell. Landlord takes time to tell you a bit about the beers on tap. Delicious rolls, lovely setting. It’s such a great and quirkily English pub.
Beer garden is fabulous. Recommended that you car share as it gets very busy in the car park!
Superb old fashioned pub with great staff, beer and simple but nice food and great value.
Friendliest welcome I can remember, I was offered generous samples of the four ales they had on.....a difficult choice as they were all good Treat yourself and get to the Bell
