Excellent fish and chips from the Sizzling Wok. Actually even better than from Oh My Cod.
The large cod is absolutely huge with nice light, crisp batter on perfectly cooked tender fish. The chips were really good - nice and crisp without being overcooked and not greasy. The food was well packed in
Good food - a little slow and staff aren’t too engaging so not the perfect experience, but happy enough and would most definitely return here. Portion sizes are good and taste wise were nice enough also.

Always had friendly service, and food is freshly cooked. Have seen reviews here of people complaining about time taken to cook - well I'd much rather have something freshly cooked and wait a little than it be so quick it must have come from a pan on warm up! So you've got it right Sizzling Wok! Fish
We are still very reluctant about going out for meals because of Covid but it was our Diamond Wedding Anniversary yesterday and our son treated us to a really super meal. We have had food from Sizzling Wok before but the meal last night was really superb. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.
I have had fish and chips from the sizzling wok several times recently and have nothing but good things to report. The chips are perfectly cooked (which is more than can be said for oh my cod down the road) and the fish is too. Whats more the food is consistently good which is what makes me go back.
I live in Fleet but when my otherhalf and I fancy a treat, we will drive to Aldershot for this place. I have lived all over and no other Chinese/Fish&chip shop is anywhere near as good!

The best chips and gravy ive had in years. Chicken portion was cooked to perfection, even my pedigree ragdoll cat loved it. Pineapple fritters were lush. So glad I tried them.
Staff are friendly, food takes a while to prepare if you're ordering something that isn't pre-cooked but anyone with an ounce of intelligence would realise this. Love the rice here and their sweet chili plum sauce dishes are very good.
