Myself and my mother booked a table for 2 for lunch on Saturday, the cafe was busy but welcoming with great service and amazing food...my crayfish, rocket and lemon mayonnaise on granary was just yummy, and packed with filling, my mother's brie and cranberry toasty was one of the best she'd ever had...!! To accompany our food I had an an iced latte with a caramel shot, mum had a traditional lemonade, both of which were delicious. As much of their food as possible is locally sourced which I love, especially as Aldeburgh is a seaside town and a lot of the menu has seafood dishes. I wasn't aware that dogs were welcome until later, but now I know I will bring mine as we love to walk them on our local beaches and it's aways nice to be able to go for a bit to eat somewhere with them afterwards. Having had such a lovely lunch, we will not only be back, but will be recommending to family and friends, and hope to go for dinner sometime as the evening menu looks equally as fabulous as the breakfast/brunch and lunchtime menu...would highly recommend...!!
What a treasure this place is. It definitely goes that extra mile, and provided their French Toast with gluten free bread. Superb!
Lovely food and service! Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Food took a while to come but was all lovely and homemade and so worth the wait! A kind Waitress gave our dogs a bowl of water too.

Found this place by chance, quite small, extensive menu, everything cooked to order, waiting wasn't to long.
Despite having 3 of the menu items being unavailable, food was good.
We had bacon sandwich (looked like there was at least 6 rashers of bacon)
Baratta with tomato and balsamic vinegar.
Avocado Poached Egg and salad leaves on toast amazing.
Definitely go here! This place has a very good atmosphere. I often come here to have a cup of tea and a little bite. Mainly because they have excellent and friendly service and a great chef. It's one of my favorite places in Aldeburgh!
Preordered an afternoon tea for 2, absolutely fabulous savouries and cakes, I couldn't pick a favourite they were all so tasty! Friendly and attentive staff even with it being very busy. We sat in their lovely courtyard garden. Will definitely be back
Small coffee shop, some great sounding lunches, unfortunately a 3 of our first choices were not available.
Food is all freshly made to order, so some delay, but worth the wait
Great value venue with food-envy dishes such as the French toast with fruit and yoghurt and the croque madame. Cosy without feeling cramped. Welcoming staff and outdoor seating.
Lovely place for a bite to eat, great food and nice staff.
Also dog friendly if you've left yours at home and need your fix.

What a wonderful time we had! A lovely afternoon tea for 5 of us, celebrating our daughters birthday. The afternoon tea was delicious, my gluten free option was the best A/T I’ve ever had. They couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. A future favourite for sure!
We stoped in here at 16-40 on Saturday afternoon , right on closing time , but like other tea rooms at this time of day we were not turned away , tea for two and a coffee , true English politeness , at its best Thank you 👌👍
Lovely tearoom with excellent options on the menu, nice decor, and friendly staff. If you want to have afternoon tea make sure you book ahead but if not there's a lovely selection of fresh cakes.
