This is a regular breakfast spot for me, 9/10 the poached eggs are perfectly cooked. Well recommended.

We dropped in on the off chance for our traditional 'last breakfast' before leaving Alderbugh, having parked right at the entrance to the alley leading to East Coast. Although just opening up we were made to feel extremely welcome and enjoyed two superb cooked breakfasts and what I can only describe as the best Cappuccino I have ever tasted. There was a slight delay in the food coming out which I fully expected as they were clearly setting up but complimentary coffees were brought out to us with their apologies. Will most definitely return on our next visit. Thanks guys.

Not the first time we have had a meal at this restaurant and won't be the last I think I've said it all

Fantastic from the moment we stepped in out of the rain. Steak perfectly cooked, and the pickled courgette is giving me ideas...

We were in Aldeburgh for the afternoon and I was just looking for somewhere for a light lunch with my one-and-a-half year old daughter. As I saw a highchair inside I thought that this would be a safe bet. We had a lovely lunch, in beautiful, bright surroundings. The staff were accommodating for my little girl and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A tad pricey but as expected. We will definitely be returning over the summer.

Wonderful food. We had lunch their today and think without doubt it is one of the best restaurants in the area. The smoked duck starter was succulent with a very good dressing and the sea bass was beautifully cooked and had just jumped out of the sea. Most highly recommended.

Just popped in for a quick lunch and ended up with a really tasty full roast beef meal, Yorkshire pud, roast tats and all. Beef was beautifully pink and right on the money. Service was variable in quality and attentiveness from the staff but a minor observation.

Just had a great weekend in Suffolk. Lovely UK countryside. As a family we love visiting all parts of our nation and have enjoyed the east coast. Norfolk/Suffolk can be 20/25 % more pricey though, not so many cheap and cheerful resorts! Pay your money and take your choice.

Great service and a fantastic welcome. The interior is a delight from the 14c. window hangings to the overall decor. The service was great and the food is freshly prepared and locally sourced. A great experience and very highly recommended. We'll be visiting again when we return.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Meat from local butcher (calve's liver was best I've tasted outside Venice), seafood from literally 20 feet from the front door. Service matches the quality of food.

Grown-up fish fingers were delicious and the chips bang-on perfect. Excellent creamy mushroom pasta. Great laid-back decor, good ambiance. We'll be back!

Found this restaurant when everything else was booked up in Aldeburgh on a Saturday night. Informal, great food, great service. Prices are about what you would pay in other 'good' restaurants in the town. Recommended.

Relaxing very modern venue with; bar, restaurant, cafe and foody nik-naks shop. Lovely decor' and artwork. Cheerful staff. Lots of spirits at the bar. Super coffee with tasty home made cakes. Walk-in or res' for evening meals which are all locally sourced fresh ingredients that taste divine. Family and dog friendly. Outside terrace for sunny days.

Best cappuccino and croissant in town. Having tried all the options East Coast was definitely the best. Croissants from the Pump house bakery are amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
