Charming little cafe, with a wonderful assortment of cakes, tarts and cookies. Great coffee and atmosphere, and being a seaside resort the clientele are lovely too. Staff are very professional and kind. Glad we stopped by in a chilly February during half term ☕️ 🍪
My absolutely the most favourite place to have coffee and something nice with when I am in UK 💛. Any stuff from their bakery is heaven in your mouth! from the sourdough bread to cinnamon swirl to cheese scone with spice. They have a few vegan options too- the most delicious amaretto or chocolate cookie and Moroccan roll!!! I'm in love with this Two Magpies concept. They use the best vegan milk Barista edition OATLY. Can we open one Two Magpies Bakery in Prague too? ❤️
Fabulous vegetarian breakfast! A great selection, cooked well the beans were delicious! You also can’t beat a slice of soup toast! We’ve been a few times and are never disappointed! First time eating inside and it’s bright, clean with friendly and super efficient service! It has quite a few tables inside and a few outside the front! Dog friendly too!
Love this bakery. Firstly they serve Allpress coffee, which for me is the best coffee around and my personal favourite. Secondly, the food is delicious, the service is fast and efficient and it’s a great space to enjoy a coffee and a cake.
Popped in to the cafe for breakfast during a weekend away and had a really nice breakfast. Opted for the avacado and toast, while the other half had a french toast affair.
Pretty reasonable price wise and I cant really fault anything that we had. Then went over to cafe and bought some pastries, which again were very nice.
Seems fairly popular so the cafe will like fill up pretty quick during the busy season.
We visited on a very busy New Year's Eve at lunch time. There was a bit of a wait to get seated as we were a group of 5, but Lilly was great at making us feel welcome while we were waiting!
Once we were seated the service was friendly and prompt. We ordered from the breakfast menu which had a good selection, including catering for veggies (2 of us) and gluten free (1 coeliac). The food was very tasty (I loved the vegan black pudding) and came quick enough given how busy they were.
I would definitely visit again!
Lovely bakery that we hve visited before in Aldeburgh. This time we went for breakfast. The smashed Avocado with poached eggs on sourdough ws delicious. A real explosion of flavours with the butter, spinach etc too. Friendly staff & amazing selection of cakes
Delicious vegan breakfast today. Hand made sausages and vegan black pudding 😃
Popped here by chance for lunch, clean, bright interior, friendly and efficient staff. Menu choices interesting and even a few vegan options. Steps and narrow walkways may be tricky for some with mobility issues.
We bought a sausage roll and cakes and a cappuccino to have on the beach. The sausage roll was really tasty, very different to a normal sausage roll. Flaky light pastry, a tubular amount of sausage meat, nice sweet flavour.
I chose the almond pan au chocolat cake which we shared. A lovely big portion with plenty of crunchy almonds and a frangipan filling with chocolate centre and flaky pastry. Best cake ever!
The cappuccino was really good too. We also purchased a cheese n chilli sourdough loaf for home.
Great selection of breads and patisseries, well worth waiting in the queue which shows how popular their goods are. I tried their Two Magpies and Morrocan sausage rolls, both of which were delicious.
Delicious food and impeccable customer service. This was a lovely little café and bakery. From the moment my friend and I entered we were made to feel so welcome and regardless of the busy time of day, all staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Unbelievably good sourdough, a thing of beauty called an almond toast (bit like a Bakewell tart without the jam on a slice of white bread) allpress coffee is good to. Like most things in Southwold you have to queue but it goes quickly and frankly it's worth the wait.
We had lunch here off their new menu, whilst a bit limited there was enough choice for us. I had the Salmon fishcake, my wife the Cottage Pie. Both were obviously made on the premises and were delicious whilst at the same time different to the traditional recipes. It suited us that there were no chips, mine came with sauteed potatoes and the pie with caramelised roasted veg. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the staff were first class with great humour. We really enjoyed our lunch and would definitely return.
Friendly welcome on a cold day, excellent service and a good sized bowl of soup. Recommend the cheese toasty . Dog friendly too.
Excellent full English (tastiest bacon I’ve ever had?) and very nice staff and setting. I would definitely go back if I am in the town for the pastries and cakes they sell too.
