Fabulous pub, staff were very friendly and welcoming, service was excellent. We had lunch in this pub on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday afternoon, both times the only staff were two young men who were so attentive even when the pub was packed, their level of service was top notch. Food was really nice, cosy atmosphere, dog friendly, this pub ticked all the boxes. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in Aldeburgh.
What a pub! We loved sitting outside overlooking the sea, next to the beautiful Moot Hall and eating some smoked fish from neighbouring Ash Smoked Fishes. Can not wait to return.......

Great pints in one of the last down to earth pubs in aldeburgh. We often head here to avoid the crowds of dogs, Londoners and kids in the other pubs in the area. They are always cheerful behind the bar, there is often space to sit and if not you can grab a pint to go to enjoy on the beach.
Unexpectedly good food for a pub lunch, even if during a menu changeover. Tired looking decor, but friendly staff and locals. I will definitely try this place again on another visit to the area
We stayed here 19th April for 2 nights. The newly refurbished rooms were excellent value and very well presented, the food was also excellent we ate there both nights.
Nothing was to much trouble, our rooms overlooked the beach and the village was only a short stroll away.
We would highly recomend this B & B and we will definately return when we are back in the area.
Wonderfully charming little pub right on Aldeburgh beach. Directly opposite the historic Moot Hall, with easy walking access to the High St and Aldeburgh cinema.
Old wooden pub, good menu, nice selection of beers & wines and a spot on location.

We visited at lunchtime today, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. It was a beautiful warm day, so they reserved a table for us so we could sit outside until our food order was ready. We chose from the light bites menu, it was very tasty and well cooked and presented.
Well done to the two lovely guys on duty, a very pleasant experience.
Only stopped for lite lunch, which was delicious washed down with some lovely beer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Had a lovely meal here on the last day of our short break in Aldeburgh. Food was excellent and the service was attentive. Will definitely eat here again when visiting Aldeburgh .
Visited The Mill Inn Aldeburgh Sunday lunchtime just for a drink.
The Pub is just of the sea front, there is little seating as you enter from the side entrance, by the bar and larger room at the front, with a fire place, it is nicely decorated and was playing music which was nice.
We sat outside where there is pairs of chairs with the sea front views.
Unfortunately arrived at 1pm and we could hear the Bar Person moaning, while serving the customer before me about how many millions of people was in the day before and why they open at 12 when everyone come at once at 1pm, not in a nasty way but not very welcoming. Hope his day got better.
Had a couple of real ales on sale, the one I choose was £5, higher than other pubs I have visited in the area.
Not sure I would re-visit.
