OMG 5 course meal last night to die for. Pure authentic Italian and a choice of main courses. Fantastic desserts. We had two vegetarians in our party and they were catered for extremely well, and loved their fish course. We had to take two desserts home as the other portions were huge. Beautiful...........

Went on Sunday 15th July at lunch time. Even though there was a large party of 60 people due in we were accommodated very well. Excellent service and food was delicious. We had the baked camenbert for starters which we shared followed by a 12 oz sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked and a duck breast with a cranberry sauce. Unfortunately we were too full to try one of the many deserts on offer. Would definitely recommend this for people to try

Superb. Only found it in the week and went for Sunday Lunch. Staff were great, attentive and the high chair was all set up for our son when we arrived. Food was excellent and will definitely go back. Would recommend it to anyone.

Been a while since I last dined at this wonderful pub/restaurant as we now live in Australia. However, I can thoroughly recommend it to everyone, fantastic. It's just so unfortunate that we live too far away now to enjoy it.

We only live down the road and are now kicking ourselves for not visiting this little gem before! Food was amazing, piping hot and the service was extremely attentive, we'll definitely be back.

Honestly phenomenal food. Took us by surprise as we stumbled upon the place by accident on a random drive this evening. Highly recommended! I’m going back to try the surf and turf next week, the Cajun chicken burger and linguine we had today was so good. We even tried the mackerel pate, I’m not usually fan of fish but this was incredibly moreish.

Nice atmosphere, depending on the day. Friday night is best. Food is average. Pizza on the menu. Good for casual drinks with friends and pool table can be fun.

Popped in for a pint after a drive out in the countryside. A lovely old English country pub , very authentic & set in a lovely little hamlet. Didn’t have time for any food but got talking to someone who had just finished a meal, they were very complimentary it so maybe next time. Great beer garden & kids park a short distance away.

Took family for my 70th birthday. On the whole had a lovely time, one or two hiccups, but sorted out. Food cannot be faulted, very tasty and cooked beautifully. Staff all pleasant even though they were under pressure. ( could do with a few more staff). Thank you Dartmouth Arms for helping me have a lovely day.

Love this little country pub. Very traditional with cosy wood burner keeping us warm. Food was excellent and very generous portions. Had the homemade lasagne with salad off the lunchtime menu at £12.50. Full of flavour and very good value for money. Staff lovely! Would highly recommend

Stopped by for a drink with our children. Friendly staff, the children enjoyed the park in the sunshine ☀. A quintessential English abode. Nice malbec !

Occasionally we meet at the Dartmouth and book 'Little Italy'. A surprising 17 rocked up last night. We were warmly greeted, well fed and looked after by two very attentive staff. Thank you. John Whalley for Dartmouth Classic Car Club.

Visited mid cycle ride and we were warmly welcomed. Staff were super attentive and friendly. The Hobsons Town Cryer beer was in great condition and the pasticcio was tasty. Just what we needed.

Wandered into the Dartmouth Arms at 2pm on Sunday on the off chance they might be doing food. The girl at the bar said they're doing a Sunday menu but there were no tables available other than one reserved for half three, so if we ordered quickly we could have that one. Already impressed with how helpful she was, we ordered three beef roast dinners. Crikey. Proper slabs of beef, Yorkshire puddings so big you could camp in them and every vegetable under the sun served in bowls (and a side of chips that seemed to be home cooked - delicious either way!) This pub turned Sunday around for us, we left feeling utterly stuffed and content. A proper old English country pub which obviously relies on its good honest food and hospitality rather than wide screen TV's and gimmicks. If we're ever passing again, we'll be sure to drop by!
