Friday evening. Decent village pub with a good lot of customers. Beer very good, but only one type of wine - a routine Chilean Merlot. Food, we had half roast chicken, and huge , tasty pork loin chop with pepper sauce. Happily swapped chips to mash, veg ok.

Go here regularly for a drink and now and again for a meal which is always delicious home made food. A nice friendly crowd of people and staff, also polite and efficient. Nice atmosphere.
Delicious Sunday lunch. Beef really tender .vegetables just cooked beautifully.

Last week,March 2023,my wife and I popped in for a meal to our surprise and delight it was Thai night.
The quality/taste and portion size was 5 star plus and not from a jar.
Proper authentic food as good if not better than Bangkok and the Ales just as good.

Lovely evening meal in a proper traditional pub atmosphere. Friendly helpful Staff. Would recommend the deliious nut roast.
Very welcoming, good beer, lovely locals. I haven't eaten here yet, but I have heard nothing but positive reports on the food. When circumstances allow we will visit for some delightful home cooked food. UPDATE. Still not eaten there, most locals are still lovely.
