The steak deal on a Tuesday fabulous food gorgeous and the best pepper sauce ever had,service very good staff very friendly and decent beer will be a regular in Tuesdays

4 of us went for a meal on a Saturday evening. The service was excellent. The young man who served us was attentive but not interfering. The food was really good, with a good choice of specials. The price was excellent including drinks for 4 of us it worked out at £25 each. My only suggestion would be to spice up your dessert menu. It was a bit unadventurous.

Really nice food and service, with top restaurant food and a small cosy pub atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice reasonably priced meal. Lovely.
Absolutely highly recommend. Lovely food had the Smothered Chicken in peppercorn sauce, lovely. My friends had the Fish & Chips. Can't fault it. We will be back to try more.

Went out for tea yesterday last minute thought i would never get in to the Duke William but the nicest lady approached us and said they could fit us in. Myself and my husband had a fantastic meal. We enjoyed the food and the service and will most certainly be going back.

Excellent food, we traveled from Blackpool to enjoy lunch here. The only hiccup was trying to find the venue (down a side street). Real ale available (Cask Marque accredited).
Food was delicious. Service was shocking. Young girls stood talking. Waited ages for plates to be removed. Hubby had to go to go to the bar to order as girls to busy talking to see if we needed anything else...waited ages for horseradish sauce and for pudding. Service let everything down.
Popular with locals, this is a good pub to call in. We just turned up hoping for something toveat. The place was full. We were told that we may have to wait about half an hour. In the event we sat down after about 15 minutes. We used the time to get a drink and speak to a couple who had just eaten. They were effusive in their praise. They said they ate there regularly and praised the cheese and onion pie. I had Jamaican goat curry, my other half, the curried fish. We both enjoyed our meals.
We will eat here again but booking is a good idea.
Lovely beers, friendly staff and some really, really good food. On this occasion, we had a selection of Greek dishes. Each was as tasty and well presented with care as we've had in Greek restaurants. Complements to all and especially the talented chef.

Very impressed with the welcome, the atmosphere and the food. Traditional style pub with large portions of freshly made tasty food. Good vegan and veggie options. All round winner for me.
Lovely tables outside in the shade under umbrella's and a marquee. Set back away from the main road so nice and peaceful. Average menu, limited vegetarian options.
