Very warm welcome by front of house and seated swiftly. Drinks soon followed and then our lunch. Very polite and friendly staff, amazing food and great beer selection. I had the pan fried sea bass and my lady had the pork tomahawk, both cooked to perfection. They also cater for vegans as well as allergic patrons.

Absolutely fabulous food and friendly service. Only spoilt by the loud hooray Henry at the next table but that's not the fault of the pub. Best chios I've eaten in ages!

my partner and I vsited on a whim Monday lunchtime as we spotted it had just opened. Pleased we did it's been wonderfully modernised with a hint of old world charm. We had excellent prompt service, wonderful tasting food I recommend the Steak Bavette. Prices were reasonable too considering the good size potions .. decent pale ale selection on tap, this is what I've been missing since moving out of town I will be going back with more people once lockdown allows

The Victoria is friendly and welcoming with attentive staff and excellent food. Most pubs in this and surrounding areas require a booking for Sundays otherwise there's a long wait. We arrived without a reservation, late afternoon on a very busy Sunday after being turned away by 3 other less busy pubs nearby. The Victoria was happy to make a plan to accommodate us and, despite being full, with a continual stream of people coming in, provided attentive service without a long waiting time before our meals arrived. The roasts and burgers we ordered were excellent.

We are locals to this pub and been here a few times already trying different food. My overall conclusion is that this pub is very decent, I can highlight the quality of the food and portions and drinks. I ate hake yesterday and it was brilliant but maybe less sauce would be better (in my humble opinion). Rose sparkling is very nice. Waiting staff was attentive ,came checked on us few times. I’d say it’s a restaurant level , you should definitely tip the guys ( as we did. ) Happy with this local pub and should be definitely coming back to try more food and drinks. Keep it up guys.

I feel we do not visit this pub enough. The food is great, dont go if your not hungry, the portion size is large. We enjoy every time we visit

Excellent family meal on Sunday, friendly happy staff, food very good, service a little slow but considering there were 12 of us and the place was packed every table occupied not too much of an issue. Only other issue could do with a little more heating. Highly recommend.

Great, attentive service from a friendly team. Clean throughout the pub and the beer is good too. The food is well done although perhaps a little pricey? I had the cheese platter as a desert- £10 for two pieces of cheese, a few crackers and relish? All in all though a good, well run local pub.
