Very dog friendly pub. Nice bar staff. Friendly locals. Just a shame they do not do food.
My local, but not been in since pre covid. Today we had a great afternoon...it was packed and very friendly. Recommended.

Landlady and landlord are absolutely wounderful and so are the staff. I have a wonderful time everytime I go in. Karaoke Friday and Saturday night. And an artist on a Sunday from about 6pm. Love it xx
Very nice pub, quick service, although is was quiet for a Thursday night, had a few games of pool & a few beers. Would recommend a visit if you're staying in the area.
Lovely random day with the family. Excellent young lad at the bar, dont know his name, but he also worked England final...and he was a star then. A credit to the pub xxxx

No real ale on.... Tho' great atmosphere... Band was playing: 9 piece Ian Kays Soul Dream. Very friendly locals, good bar staff....
Don't live in York but was in there Fri night and Sat night, great place to be in, very friendly.
