We went for afternoon tea yesterday as a birthday treat for mother in law. It was absolutely amazing, especially the little soup. That made it unique as I've never had soup with afternoon tea before, it was lovely and tasty. My husband grew up playing in gattys park, so it was very nostalgic for him as we live in Lincolnshire but have family in Accrington. One of the best afternoon tea I've had. Staff were lovely as well

Not as good as it used to be. We ordered jacket potato with cajun chicken. We received boiled chicken pieces in garlic mayo! No mention of mayo on the menu. This used to be a healthy option and a nice meal but sadly not anymore.

Lovely relaxing place. Menu has excellent variety and is reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and friendly. Gatty Park itself is a hidden gem of country peace in an urban area...highly recommend and will be visiting often.

Lovely staff, calm environment, portion size on the small size but the cost is quite low so reflects this. Nice and fresh food.

We visited this afternoon and what a lovely little cafe , we came after having a spa morning at the dunkenhalgh, We were hungry and ready to be fed .The menu was plentiful with options of sandwiches, panini's, jacket potatoes with various fillings ,High tea and the specials on the board . As a table of 3 we had a mixture from the menu, mine being the high tea ...and was really tasty ....and came with a pot of tea that you got two cups from .all the staff were friendly and very kind .couldn't fault it at all . We will be back thank you very much

What a find !! We have always seen this place but today we thought we will go and try. And we were not disappointed! We have the High tea , the sandwiches were fab, they served a little cup of soup (carrot and coriander super yummy !) , A salad and crisps, and then with no scones (Monday they don't have scones) we chose a cake. We picked lemon cake. Absolutely delicious ! The staff were so lovely and friendly. A must visit. Food exceptional quality and staff fantastic !!

I took my mum for afternoon tea at Gatty's tea room. It was lovely, the savoury food was fresh and delicious. The sweets were lovely too. And topped off with unlimited tea and coffee. Would definitely recommended for the price.

This is a tea room you could quite easily miss, it stands back off Hyndburn Road, set in Elmfield Hall, which was built in 1853, the gardens and play area at the front of the Hall are lovely. The tea room is lovely, very welcoming friendly atmosphere, and a great menu. This truly is well worth a visit, we had a lovely afternoon and will be calling again.
