Leanne made a beautiful cake for our wedding in May and we received lots of compliments from guests about how pretty the cake was and how tasty it was too!
We booked Leanne about a year before our wedding with a £35 deposit, booked in our consultation via Instagram and the cake appeared on our wedding day exactly as we had discussed at the consultation and I was really happy with it. Leanne gave me a call a few weeks before the wedding just to double check all the details which was really reassuring. She sourced the wooden personalised decorations for our cake which really finished it off nicely.
In all of our communications with Leanne she was super clear about the importance of returning the equipment in a timely manner - we appreciated the use of her personal cake stand to make our cake look perfect on the day and we made arrangements to have it dropped off a few days later despite being away. It was made clear from the start we’d need to do this and I was happy to do so given it was borrowed by us.
Overall I’d definitely reccomend booking Sweetest Thing Cakery for a beautiful, tasty and also very reasonably priced wedding cake.

I’ve had many cakes made by Leanne, for various occasions and they are always absolutely perfect, pure works of art & delicious too.
Leanne is the most accommodating cake maker I have ever come across. On the hottest day of 2022 and the worst traffic jam the M6 had seen, she delivered our cake and made it on time in the midst of the height of the wedding season. She continues to produce the most wonderful designed cakes. I would not hesitate to recommend Leanne’s work to anyone!

We stumbled across Leanne on Facebook in 2017 when we were planning our wedding for June 2019. Her cakes looked amazing and I couldn’t wait to meet her to talk about the cake I’d had in my head for years 😬 we also immediately bonded over being sausage dog mums 🤣
Our wedding came round quickly and of all the things in the venue , we just couldn’t wait to see the cake. It didn’t disappoint and was exactly what we wanted. We also had mini cake domes that the guests loved!
After the wedding Leanne became my go to for every cake occasion. We’ve also started a tradition with her where we get a small cake on our wedding anniversary, and she keeps them in keeping with our original colour scheme. It’s a tradition we love sharing with her.
In the last few years Leanne has made countless baby shower and birthday cakes, and most recently the start of the 30th celebration cakes for all my friends. Nothing is ever too much, and even when I’m last minute she is always so accommodating and delivers nothing but perfection. I don’t even give her a brief, we just discuss a colour or theme and I let her work her magic.
Not only does Leanne make the most amazing cakes, but she’s also a genuinely lovely person.
Keep on making your works of art and I can’t wait to see my 30th birthday cake in February 🎂
I ordered a 60th birthday cake and cupcakes for my mum's birthday. I asked for a Ted Baker handbag for the main cake but didn't really specify on the cupcakes. When my mum saw the handbag, she was blown away and I think it was her favourite thing of the night. The handbag was elegant looking and not tacky at all. The cupcakes matched the bag beautifully and we couldn't have been happier. Everything tasted great. Thank you Leanne.
Leanne has been my go to cake maker for quite some time now, so it was no surprise when I wanted her to do our wedding cake & dessert table goodies. Of course she did not disappoint! I had absolute trust in Leanne to design us something cool, quirky & contemporary as her style is something I’ve absolutely always loved. Not only does her work look amazing but it tastes delicious also. We chose lemon and Victoria sponge for our tiers and had nothing but compliments on how yummy the cake was! If your wanting a super cool cake maker, then Leanne is your girl!

The overall cake was incredible. The whole process from designing the cake, getting tasters etc... was made really simple. Then the cake itself. WOW. The taste and look was commented on by all of our guests. It was truly spectacular.

We fell in love with Leanne’s beautiful cakes when we stumbled across her page and then Instagram feed. From the word go Leanne listened to our ideas and made suggestions which led to our absolute cake of dreams!! We had three tiers (one lemon, one chocolate and one Victoria sandwich). We asked for a couple of slices to be kept back for those that couldn’t make it and lucky we did as there was no cake left, which speaks volumes of just how delicious the cake was!! Thank you once again Leanne for creating such a beautiful cake that was beyond all our expectations!
We had our wedding cake from The Sweestest Thing Cakery and it was AMAZING! Our guests commented on how good it looked as well as how it tasted when they got to take some home the next day! From our first meeting, the flavours and design were all discussed but we happily put all our trust in Leanne being able to create and design something unique for us as well as linking in with our colour theme. We always liked Leanne's style in making a modern yet individually designed cake and her talents show just this in every cake that she makes!
Well what can I say about the Sweetest Thing Cakery. What an amazing little find. We stumbled across Leanne after looking for a wedding cake. Leanne was so helpful, we booked in for our initial consultation, where Leanne had prepared some samples. We spoke about the design and colour scheme. Leanne made the cake, supplied the cake standand and tailored the favours to match our colour scheme. She also liaised with our florist regarding the flowers for the cake and delivered the cake to the venue.
We had so many lovely comments about our cake at our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and Leanne captured exactly what we wanted.
The cake itself was divine.
Because we love Leanne's designs, we have ordered a few celebration cakes including birthday and anniversary cakes, again absolutely fab! We will continue to use the Sweetest Thing Cakery for all of our cake needs.

Well what can I say about Leanne, I initially contacted her back in 2020 to enquire about a cake for our wedding, unfortunately due to pandemic we were unable to see Leanne face to face. Leanne sent samples through the post that arrived in time and just before our what's app consultation, Leanne listened to our ideas of what we wanted and sent some examples ticking all our boxes. The cake samples were delicious as was the favour that she also sent. Leanne herself is fab, knowledgeable and great at her job, she will absolutely go above and beyond to make your wedding cake the best, she is definitely one of the best if not the best wedding supplier that I worked with whilst planning our wedding. She was always available to chat to when needed and not only gave advice on the wedding cake but all aspects of the wedding and always responded to voicemail messages etc... The wedding cake itself and favours (which we added at the last minute!) were both amazing, we chose mint chic chip, lemon drizzle and Victoria sponge for the cake. I would highly recommend Leanne to any future brides and grooms but also for any of your cake needs xx

My partner found Leanne via Instagram and after stalking her page, we got in touch. Leanne was great on the phone and very responsive over emails. We arranged a cake tasting session and had an opportunity to discuss designs and ideas in person. We walked away excited and wanting more of her cakes! She has so many delicious flavours!!
Unfortunately, Covid happened since this meeting and we had to cancel our wedding. Leanne was very understanding and remained professional throughout. We subsequently changed our wedding to be an intimate affair and Leanne patiently worked with us to redesign the cake to fit a new theme and went out of her way to source the icing sheet from abroad!
On the day, the cake was delivered punctually and presented beautifully with flowers and a cake topper that we had provided. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the cake was and immediate family were sent home additional slices which they enjoyed for days after!
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leanne and her services! She was a pleasure to work with and a vendor who made our wedding planning experience easy and enjoyable.
The Sweetest Thing Cakery is my go to for all cake and celebrations. Leanne never fails to produce a truly beautiful masterpiece. She has done some amazing birthday cakes and next week is producing my sons Christening cake. With a wedding in a couple of years, she will also be doing that.
The style is unique and I can honestly say the cake itself tastes amazing and I have had cake from other quite famous bakers and Leanne's is better.
