It’s great to see a lovely and knowledgable couple run this pub. Super friendly and really will listen to you. The prices are good and they have some excellent food vans throughout the week. Highly recommend

A terrific little pub, tucked away in an unassuming village location. The interior and exterior - newly refurbished - are charming, traditional and very welcoming. Rather than open a permanent kitchen, they have wisely opted for a rolling schedule of food trucks, offering excellent variety and quality. The cask ales are superb. Friendly service. Highly recommended both on a summer's day (awesome beer garden) or a winter's evening (for cosy wood panelled lounge).

GREAT to have a quality pub in the village again. Been a few times since opening and staff and atmosphere are perfect. Love the idea of different food options through out the week.

Fantastic refurbishment back to the quaint village pub. Everything has been refreshed. Outside covered space, garden seating, classic village atmosphere, great welcome from new landlords, street food vans 2 or 3 times a week 👍👏🍺🍻🥂

They don't do their own food, but have different take away vans at the weekends. This means that there is an interesting variety of food. Very good and interesting beers.

Delicious food, I got extra gravy without having to ask (result) and the bill was so much cheaper than London.

A traditional local pub with good honest meals and service at a great price. The staff at the Crown are hard working and always eager to please. The dining room is clean and relaxed and is not overcrowded with tables. For those with a gluten allergy it's a great option when you want propper chips, some homely cooking , or just can't face cooking after a hard day. We will continue to return time after time. All the dishes are good, however the haddock and mozzarella fishcakes are just wonderful. Always best to phone to check availability.

What a great place to go, lovely welcome on my 1st visit. So much so that I booked a table for Sunday lunch for 3 people. Brilliant food and friendly staff. Thank you for such a great experience and meal. Please book everyone and give it a try. You won't be disappointed

Proper pub this, nice to see a big open fire and a pool table. It's a small local village pub with no thrills but for me that's the beauty of it. Not a gastro menu insight, just a few ales and lagers on tap some pork scratchings, oh and not forgetting the fruit machine. Love it let's hope more pubs go back to their roots before the hipster brigade totally take over the world.

We have driven by The Crown at Marcham a few times but have never stopped. One of my wife's work colleagues said they had eaten their and it was very good so we decided to pay them a visit today. WOW! what an experience. A very olddy-worldy pub but very cleanly and nicely refurbished. To start with it had a Hygiene rating of 5 which always pleases me and it was immaculate... the food is home cooked and created to traditional recipes and the pub is family run concern making it very homely.. the Service was fantastic and we were made very welcome. The food was outstanding and the portions are generous. The food was served hot and on nice hot plates. It is very fair on your pocket. Today (Tuesday 31/10/2017) mains were £5-50 with a dessert for a further £1-50. This was the Lunch Special and as yet we haven't visited in the evening but believe me, we will be back soon...

Was in desperate need of investment and has had some decent changes under new management. Now a much better place to visit.
