Very good meal here at a very reasonable price. Friendly & efficient service but most of all it was tasty food & good portion size.
Not very busy. Maybe not even 25% full in the restaurant so not much of an atmosphere but can't fault the meal.
I come to this restaurant a lot and I can actually say it has the best Indian food ever! I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants and this is by far the best. I absolutely love this restaurant for many reasons. The interior is decorated very beautifully and has a warm inviting feel to it. The food is always freshly made and tastes amazing. This restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes which cater for vegans; vegetarians and non vegetarians. The services has always been very good too, I never had to wait very long for the food to arrive and staff are always very welcoming and friendly. In terms of the price I think it’s very reasonable for what you get especially the value for money for the buffet on Tuesdays! It’s actually a bargain for the variety of food you get. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to write one for this restaurant as I think it is well deserved to be recognised for its delicious food and service! Keep up the the amazing job spice valley!
Every single meal here is fantastic. The food is truly delicious. If you want something really special have the Kurgee Lamb (you need to order 24 hours in advance, but it’s more than worth the wait!). I tried this to celebrate my 18th birthday and my family have been back time and again since to celebrate various birthdays, anniversaries, and anything else we can think of! The staff are always friendly and helpful, and greet you with a big smile.
I have been going to Spice Valley for years, went here on a second date with my now wife and never looked back. Never had a single bad meal, the quality of the food is always high and the staff are always welcoming. The choice is incredible, some mild and some spicy they day will let you know what to expect and can customise your food if needed. Prices are good too, sometimes I feel I should be paying more! The manager Ali is always welcoming.
Very nice food, large portions and very friendly and professional service. We love both dining in here and getting take away. Never had a bad meal.
Top marks for takeaway. Friendly service, good value, and really good food. We had Chicken Balti and Tandoori Chicken Jalfrezi, and both were amazing. Best Indian I've had in Abingdon.
Without a doubt the best place to eat in the whole of oxfordshire by some way. The place has a nice ambience about it. Good food and service is great. Most importantly the staff are very kind and respectful of the customers, unlike a lot of restaurants I've been to.

Quality Indian, High Cost.
Used to go here with my parents when I was a little boy and I have great memories. This is what I remember:
The food is very tastey and portion sizes are big. The temperature of the main dishes are kept warm by candles heating the bottom of the serving container.
Waiter service is pleasant and can best be described as professional. Spice Valley has a gentle relaxed vibe to it's enterance with a spacious feel. Very nice ambiance!
My personal winge... It's a little disappointing when we ordered a King prawn main and we expect a plentiful, luxurious arrey of north-sea caught beasts but what you really get is 4 frozen prawns in curry sauce...
Considering one of these meals cost nearly £15, Wow! Kingfishing for money?
I like this place but haven't been here in a while because of the price tag.
I think you can get better deals looking in other areas of Abingdon.

The food, service and drinks were excellent and at a reasonable price and I took a doggy bag home. I would recommend Spice Valley to anyone. It was my grandson's 18th birthday celebration.
As much as a 30 yr old can be, I am, if not a veteran, at least well experienced with curry houses across the South of the country. This one is maybe the best of the 50 or so I have frequented. Yes, its a little expensive (barely noticeable) but the starters and mains are SO good. The place is clean and well kept. The staff are attentive and quick. When I finally move from Abingdon, this'll be what I will miss the most!
Been going here for years. Polite friendly and always welcoming. Whenever there are delays or any unforeseen circumstances they continue to look after you well

I work in Oxford for 8 years & this is best Indian cuisine I have found in the area (And it's not even in Oxford!).
Well been a customer for 20+ years as a kid (allie? ) and his dad are the best people ever really friendly and shows so much passion in the restaurant always very welcoming and caring and so much taste in food very clean too and always nice and fresh food and drinks sooo worth the money 😀
We moved into the area 8 years ago and tried most of the restaurants in Abingdon and Didcot. This was the best and is still our regular al these years later. Food is excellent. Staff are fantastic. Hopefully we'll be customers for years to come.

Spending a few nights in abingdon, got speaking to a lady who lives here and she recommended spice valley for good prices, tasty and plenty of food, with good service, and she was right on every count, and the greeter couldn't do enough for us, very highly recommended
