Good as always. Consistent quality pizza and quick and efficient service. You can join the loyalty club with the app and get a free side/dough balls. There’s lots of indoor seating and a beer garden seating available out back in the summer.
I have eaten in a quite a few Pizza Express restaurants, and this is an good example. The restaurant is effectively split into 2 areas, the front narrow room and then a back room with larger tables.
Our starters were garlic bread, you can't go wrong there, and I tried the honey and chilli dough balls, very hot, but so nice!.
For mains we had couple of pizza's, La Reine, on the Romana thin bases, really nice. We added extra pepperoni and we were given a good measure, which was good.
We had one desert, the classic brownie and a nice flat white coffee.
Good to see that Pizza express sell Coke Zero and not just Diet Coke, small point, but nice.
Staff were friendly enough, a smile is so important!
We had a lovely time tonight, our waiter Jacob was attentive and knowledgable, and couldn’t do enough to help. Food was amazing as always, to the point we ended up staying for three courses. 😃 5 Stars all round for the team. Will definitely be back again soon.
Had a lovely meal here last night with a friend, service was quick and the new BBQ Burnt Ends pizza was beautiful!
Only thing I wish I'd done is ask for my fudge cake to be warm, my bad! Still tasty though.

Had an amazing experience at Pizza Express! The service provided by Honor was absolutely brilliant - friendly, attentive, and efficient. The most awesome waiters and managers ♥️ Leon was especially welcoming and made our experience there the best it could be. The pizza was better than we imagined with the fluffiest dough there is and with wide variety of toppings to choose from. Loved every second there and 10/10 would recommend.
No parking at the restaurant but there is a very good carpark close by which is free for the first 2 hours.
Fast efficient service from the friendly staff. Spacious inside with no steps meaning access should be okay for buggies and wheel chairs etc.

The menu is expansive with plenty on offer, they also cater well for gluten free, have a separate vegan menu and do a kids menu.
When it came the food was very good indeed, everyone enjoyed their food. There is a decent outdoor seating area if the weather lends itself, music is pumped to the outside patio area too.
Based on this experience I would totally recommend a visit.
I ordered take out yesterday and everything was amazing! The order was really quick and the quality of the food was exceptional. I definitely would recommend, especially the Funghi Pizza and dough balls! I will be coming back more regularly.
We needed a late evening meal after a Confirmation ceremony and as we have a pizza lover in our family decided to go to Pizza Express.
They explained that the restaurant would shut in 30 minutes and we said we were ok with that.
We were given the menus, but we asked for recommendations which didn’t disappoint. The pizzas were made to order and didn’t take long to arrive.The American jack,American and , Padana pizzas tasted like authentic Italian pizzas. The ingredients tasted fresh all on thin crusts.
Staff there are lovely. Aga and Zak are a real credit to Pizza express. They checked back to make sure that the Pizzas were fine. They offered chilli or garlic oil and said they would be available if we needed anything. Though we were last customers, we did not feel rushed. They offered to take a photo of us ,as we were all dressed up and we had a good chat. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit. Nice food. Nice ambience. Brilliant staff.
Six of us came for a evening meal. Staff were clearly busy but attentive, friendly and efficient.
The food was tasty and well presented.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Me and my grandad come here most Saturdays and its one of the best places to eat in Abingdon. My grandad is a celiac and they have plenty of gluten free options and are always very careful and take the allergy seriously. They are such friendly people (our normal waitress Meg is fantastic) and there customer service is always great! They recognise us from previous visits and even remember our usual order. They have a lovely courtyard area for outside eating in the summer too.
Great service and very very tasty food! Everything came very quickly and Meg was so lovely and attentive! We will definitely be back.
