Didn't realise we were wandering in on their first day opening since covid and it was just brilliant. A real little gem! It is such a rare treat to find a independent cafe these days in a high street filled with bug American chains I was so pleased to find The lounge cafe. The owners are so lovely and friendly the menu was great I found it hard to make a choice as there were so many lovely choices.

Much better than McDonald'sbetter than Greggs , chatty better service,clean. very happy to recommend Great value bacon egg and a drink for £4 approx. Will visit again

Very nice cosy place, ideal for meeting with a friend and chat as it quiet and not crowded. Only shame that has very short opening hours.

Good place for coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch. I had a full English and just managed it, coffee is nice I poured the milk and the foam created a heart just how I felt. Owners very friendly too. Quiet place to sit and browse your paper, other coffee shops are too noisy and busy, expensive too.
A wonderful place to eat, we have been there regularly for 12 years. A lovely lady and her husband run the cafe.

Love this little cafe that has a wide range of cakes, sandwiches and cooked lunches. Staff are warm and welcoming and I always enjoy coming here for a catch up with mum. Definitely recommend!

I went to the lounge cafe today with my mum and her friend. The lunch we had was lovely the owner is always polite and can’t do enough for you. Every time I go to this cafe I would give the food a ten out of ten best cafe in Abingdon by far

Pleasant cafe, good food, it was a bit under staffed when I visited, the woman who was waiting on, was running backwards and forwards to the kitchen at top speed to try and keep the customers happy.
