A great place in Abingdon to drink and eat. They have great fries by the way. We tried beer battered fried onions and garlicky chicky fries. They were fantastic. And vegan burgers are also nice.
Lovely setting in historic Abingdon. Friendly service. Pizza was good. Definitely recommend. Alcohol-free beer on tap - first for me, but so much better than bottled.
Lovely old pub with a very modern room with removable roof. The staff were so lovely and helpful leading up to the day. Would recommend to all.
Great burgers and service. We were served food even though we came outside of food service hours. Stuff was super friendly & nice. Thank you , we enjoyed our meal and beer !
The food here is excellent, personally I would always recommend the pizzas which are made in house, the open kitchen also makes me feel much more comfortable with how my food is prepared
We visited on the 7/4/22 for our weddings anniversary and definitely didn’t regret it!
The lady behind the bar was so lovely, really helpful - even letting my indecisive husband taste the beer on tap before settling on one!
The food was delicious, I had the Katsu pizza and it was one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had in a long time.
The children’s meal could have been a little bigger for my little monster: but not massively.
Even when the child’s ice cream was a little delayed in coming out, I reminded the waitress about it, then she asked my daughter how she’d like it, sauce and sprinkles? (Silly question though!😂)
then promptly brought it out.

Great selection of beers, even got my favourites madri and blue moon. Burgers are delicious, very tasty indeed, can’t wait to return.

Good reasonably priced food in a busy pub with a good choice of drinks.
Live music was OK but was insanely loud for the venue size. Dog friendly but would not recommend taking a dog when there's live music. Big outdoor area and lots of seating space. Great location for the town centre and a good addition to a pub crawl.
Great Monday lunch stop, friendly staff, lovely burger, superb beer.
We had my daughters baby shower here and it really is a lovely room. There were only 20 of us but it could hold alot more . Good value for money a d fabulous food!
