The Eight Bells - Abingdon - Photo album

The food here is so good, Buddhist Monks make long journeys to enjoy dinner.
Watched the rugby and had a meal. Food is always great and the new menu has some good changes (although I miss the duck pancakes)
regularly go to the eight bells for a drink and some snacks, the service is always great and food is delicious especially the thai takeaway. The live music events are so fun and always have a great turnout.
Lovely food, great beers, good price...couldn't ask for much more! Thoroughly recommended.
We dined outside, the atmosphere was so relaxed. Beer and wine good. Bar service excellent as always. Love this place.
Wonderful Thai food in a small English pub in the middle of nowhere. What a treat to have live music, apparently a staple on Tuesday nights. Well worth the visit. Overall enjoyable experience.
Amazing food, great environment and hospitality. Feel like this is a secret gem in the country side.
A cosy, traditional pub with friendly service. My husband and I are big fans of Thai food and we were totally blown away- this was the best we've had outside of Thailand. Outstanding! Can't wait to return.
Very warming, unique pub. The Thai food is as authentic as it is delicious. Very kind, welcoming landlord. Perfect for big groups and small. Would highly recommend.
Really nice meal at the 8 Bells. Tried it out as the Chaba Thai in Abingdon is not open again until the end of the month. We weren't disappointed... massively tasty Jungle curry I had and my partner a really nice Chicken red curry. The flavours were perfectly balanced. We will definitely go back!
