Great place! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and was well beyond expectation. Last but not the least, the service was excellent, prompt, and very warm and welcoming. Totally enjoyed eating here and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a meal out to come and try this place out. Will surely visit this place again with more friends.

I came in for a swift drink today with my other half and looked over the menu whilst here. I couldn't take my eyes off the wild mushrooms on toasted ciabatta with spinach and poached egg whilst browsing the menu, and ended up ordering. Oh my Lord am I glad I did!!??!! I adore the food here, and I am always offering the greyhound as a suggestion to people looking for somewhere to eat. But oh my! Whoever composed this dish needs commission and it would be TOTAL sacrilege to have this removed, from the already wonderful, menu! 12 out of 10 Greyhound! You've surpassed yourselves once again!

Stopped off on Sunday evening on way home to Northampton. Never been before. Lovely pub with cheerful friendly staff. Good choice of real ales and food was very nice. Certainly a notch up from your “average” pub food. Will certainly drop in again when we are passing.

Lovely people. , service was great, food was delicious and well presented, great value for money. We was a party of 4 and took a chance as never booked and was travelling back home from Swindon . They made us welcome and we was very lucky to have a table made up within 30 minutes as we hadn’t booked .. would highly recommend this Pub/Restaurant, would say book in advance though as it was very busy during our stay.

Visited on Saturday at 6 pm as party of 8 adults and 2 kids under 8 for family birthday. Ate outside as such beautiful day and kids played in garden. Staff very friendly, obliging and helpful. Food served promptly, beautifully presented. Good portion sizes. Extensive menu and full list of course ingredients for all meals especially useful for special diets. Special mention to the manager who sorted out family who let their dog off lead in the private gardens as our grand children scared of dogs. Thank you Greyhound we will def be back soon.

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely meal and felt that children were very welcome they particularly enjoyed playing in the sunshine while we waited for food. The crispy beef salad was out of this world and needs a special mention. Will be returning again soon.

The restaurant is really nice and the garden was really lovely. The road noise is a bit, but if that really bothers you then I'd recommend sitting inside. The starters were a bit disappointing as the honey mustard glazed chipolatas are not glazed at all, it is a dip, and the calamari was overcooked. The mains (crispy beef salad and mixed roast) were delicious. The puddings (sticky toffee and caramel-chocolate chip cheesecake) were really tasty. I would think this would be a great pub on a warm summer afternoon to have a few drinks and relax in the garden. It's worth a stop in.

A stop for lunch as we headed west, arrived early and were lucky to get a table, make sure to book for the weekends. Food is tasty, fresh and wide ranging without being overwhelming. Great for those watching their weight with calorie counts on the dishes. Drink choice is also plentiful, staff are friendly and we're attentive. Deffo recommend for those that like something pub luxe.

Gorgeous little country pub and garden. Sat outside in the sunshine earlier this evening enjoying some carrot and cumin soup with sourdough roll and a glass of sweet rose 🌹

Excellent, attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble, even though we were quite a large party. An nice extra touch was a birthday card from the team to the person celebrating, which was lovely. Great food too with extensive gluten free options - quite the boon for one of our number. Will definitely return.

We’ve stopped here a couple of times on our way home from grandchildren care and we really rate it very highly as a superbly well-run pub restaurant. Last night confirmed this view with a warm welcome (we hadn’t booked), a great table in a busy restaurant, an outstanding waitress and delicious food. The one potential small glitch was that Penny’s venison arrived without potato. No sooner had I shared the mash from my wild boar pie, than the missing spud arrived as a side plate with apologies from the chef. We hadn’t said anything so there’s another sign of how good they are. Thank you very much to a real team.

A very warm friendly welcome and an extensive range of good beers. We just stopped off for a drink on a walk but the menu is very varied and sounds delicious. We will go back again for lunch.
