We had spent 2 nights here as staff where so friendly an allowed us to bring the dog in bar area , my son enjoying the play area an amusements , had a quick go of pool before ours meals showed up manager was very helpful with our menu choices why we came back a second time .
Absolutely lovely pub with great home cooked food. The service is amazing and the staff are all very friendly. It's immaculately clean. A lovely pub, I would highly recommend. We were only in the area for 4 days and visited for food a few times.
Called in for lunch. Good selection on the menu. We chose the special, beef stew and dumplings, which was delicious. A bonus was Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Excellent service from the barmaid who was on her own and had to contend with some customers who came in and seemed to be determined to be awkw
Called in on spec because it was close to where some visiting relatives were staying. Very glad we did, we all had something different and eveyone enjoyed their meal and commented on how good it was. Bonus was that prices were reasonable too. Nice pub, good decor and good service, recommended!
Whilst visiting the area for a holiday we popped in for our evening meal. The service was relaxed and friendly. The food was delicious, hot, well presented and tasty. The portions were decent. Highly recommend the Gammon with all the trimmings. The homemade lasagne and double cheese burger. The drin
Great value, excellent service, great facilities. The server was very patient and helpful with my kids' carvery dinners. £10.50 for adult, £5.95 for kids, amazing value. Well done to all the staff and thank you. Best thing I've eaten for a while.
Great little pub just a few minutes walk from our accommodation at the local guest house. Sat in the back garden and had Lasagne and chips and a couple of pints. Dogs are allowed so we did get to give out a bit of fuss. .
A great find! Lovely carvery (go for early service!) Well organised, no need to queue as each table was taken up in turn. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good quality and hot with a great variety of veggies! We took advantage of the sunshine to have an extra drink whilst the
A simple menu with food cooked really well everyone enjoyed their meal with no empty plates. Service was attentive and friendly, really made to feel at home. Shame we're only on a short break or we'd be back.
We stopped for a spot of lunch - the service was brilliant!!! A lovely older lady couldn't do enough for us. We had a children's burger meal and an adults burger they were lovely. Great priced food will most definitely be back.
Great pub, fantastic food...we were greeted by the waitress and made to feel very welcome. Had gammon from the main menu which was delicious. The waitress and gent behind the bar were both lovely... e sat in the lower bar, but there's also another larger dining area from the car park side, a great r
Stopped off here on the way back from Aberystwyth. Good steak, chips and salad followed by warm chocolate fudge cake. An old, dog friendly pub with helpful staff.
Food was lovely, main meals good value, pudding and some drinks very expensive. It's not a big place but waited an hour for our food, was worth the wait but be aware of this if you do go here.
Lovely food, lovely pub/restaurant. Fairly priced Only down side some staff and not all seemed a bit cold. Would I eat here again...yes...
The people that work there are so nice and lovely, the food is immaculate and so tasty especially the chips and waffle dessert would recommend definitely go again
Good value carvery. Nice outside seating in the garden, plenty of parking. Close to Borth and Aberystwyth. Worth the detour
