Blessed with many fine places in Manchester, this could hold its own there. Excellent signature dish!
First time we have had their food but certainly not the last! Lush Cantonese style chicken and egg fried rice - so tasty and well cooked. Delwyn had the mixed meat and fried rice meal with sweet and sour sauce - he said it was perfect! We also bought banana fritters for afters but no room for them!! Later on maybe! They delivered to our holiday park. Really fast. So much food. Really hot, Great quality and not over priced. Even gave a freebie of chinese spiced chips. Delicious. I wish they were in Devon
The food is always great from hot dumplings, I had the meal for one, there was plenty of food, I easily had enough for a second helping. The salt and pepper ribs are amazing
Plenty choice at reasonable prices. We love it because it is so convenient for where we live.

Anyone know how to make the sweet and sour sauce just like hot dumplings?
Excellent .. Very, very good! Glad i found "Hot Dumplings" 3 or so weeks ago, asked some 'Aber' natives (as I'm from Powys & visit Aber' weekly for shopping.) what are the best Chinese takeaways this one was often recommended, I had tried a few others beforehand.. But this one is the Best by a Clear Mile!
Their Chicken Curry is excellent, nice spicy full flavoured.. the way i like them. Great portion sizes and the Quality Chicken breast used is a real cut above the usual you get in other takeaways.. a welcome bonus!
I like my curries with a bit of a heat kick so asked for Extra, Extra Hot & Spicy.. They are Perfect.. not too hot to enjoy, just Spot On!
Great friendly staff too, great prices considering the higher quality meat & ingredients.. looking forward to trying some of their spicy Szechuan (Sichuan peppercorns are one of my fave spices, often cook myself) & many other menu dishes too.

Incredibly fast and friendly service with excellent food. I’m honestly sad to be discovering the place so late in my time in Aber. If you’re new, definitely give them a try! Especially recommend the salt and chilli chips 👌

We have been regular customers of Hot Dumplings for the past two to three years and the food and service is excellent. Every dish is extremely tasty and there is such a wide range and special dishes. There are also set menus and box meals to choose from. With a delivery service as well it’s so convenient and reasonable. I highly recommend them 👍🏻👍🏻
We are not from this area, and we are not the type to usually try unknown Chinese takeaways while on holiday. I am sooo glad that we took a chance on this place! Best Chinese we’ve had for a long time! Food was reasonably priced, arrived piping hot, and took hardly any time at all! Delicious food all round, especially the honey roast pork and crab claws! Would highly recommend, and will definitely be ordering the next time I’m in Aberystwyth!
First class service and excellent food as always. If you have an allergy, are veggie or vegan speak to the chef, he is very accommodating. We worth a visit.
Abserloutly loveley mouth watering salt and pepper chicken was very fast delivery and enjoyed every bit including other orders was just the bomb if you haven’t tried this Chinese you need to try now
Hot, freshly cooked Chinese takeaway food. I've had some nice Chinese takeaways in my time but if you speak to staff here they will make changes to suit your taste in Chinese food and I've never been disappointed. I've never had a bad meal from this place. They care about their customers, their food and protecting their very good reputation... and they deliver!
