Royal Pier Upstairs Bar - Aberystwyth - Photo album

Absolutely lovely pier and food. Fab chips, fab service, and lovely atmosphere. Great size inside and equipped with pool tables, bar, arcades, etc. Not too busy even though it was a sunny day. Beautiful view. Nice and clean inside and outside, too.
24th June. Perfect choice for an AU alumni party. Fabulous DJ Eddy Scissorhands made for a great night out.
Highly recommended. Booking essential. Had one of the best meals for a while. I had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone. The gravy/sauce it came in was delicious. The staff was friendly with good service and added to the great atmosphere.
Good views, nice food and drinks. Shame about the weather but will return.
Typical seaside menu and drinks. Decent fish and chips and great views looking down on Aberystwyth. Ordering food at the bar was bit confusing. After paying for the food you are given a ticket , you find a table and wait for the kitchen to shout your number out and then collect your food
Lunch upstairs on the pier today, 2 courses starting with leek and potato soup with wedges of warm bread and butter followed by chunky beef and ale crusty pie in onions and gravy with mash, broccoli and Chardonnay carrots, Belinda had butternut squash and mushroom risotto, absolutely delicious, the
Nice place ,just stopped by for a coffee ,friendly bar staff ,very quiet place as it had only just opened.
Great place with great live music by the REFRESHERS
Was actually very surprised,in a good way, the staff very friendly, the food, was very good, & as for the view, probably the best view ,while eating in Aberystwyth.
Really good food, very nice atmosphere even with covid. The stuff was very friendly and helpful regarding gluten free questions.
Great food in a family friendly place. Make sure to ask for the days specials, we had the bangers and mash which were excellent. Two main course and two soft drinks came to £21 which is very reasonable.
Great service, amazing view, good food but there are few options on the menu.
A great place to sit and watch the world go by out of the wind, while eating very nice fish and chips
Stopped for a bite to eat and had a reasonable fish amd chips with mushy peas. Beer was excellent though
