Stumbled on this gem of a place yesterday. Very interesting flavours, fresh, delicious food. We had a red lentil/spinach stew with a beautiful charred aubergine/pomegranate salad, cumin potatoes that were cooked perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Our girls had a choice of tomato and halloumi pizza or fishcake with salad. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the food was so delicious that I ate too much!! We liked it so much we are going to stop by on our return home tomorrow.

I booked a table for 20 people last Friday and we all had an amazing evening. The restaurant is spacious, calm and beautiful, the staff were all really friendly, patient, professional and incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially seeing as 8 extra people turn up for my meal that I hadn't booked seats for. I thought it would cause issues, but the staff found extra chair and managed to fit us all in without any fuss. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out at the same time, which for 28 people is incredible! It was a wonderful experience which I'll definitely be repeating as often as possible. Thanks everyone at the Medina!

Amazing place. Lovely food and great selection of beers and wines. I only wish that front of house would pay more attention to the guests, you never know who's watching (!) Creme brulee is perfect and charred cauliflower delicious. Gf options available. We will come back again. Thanks guys and thank you Chef! Well done.

What a great place this is! The food is amazing! And FINALLY a place with a children's menu that isn't the usual fish/chip/chicken nugget/beans combo. And what a waitress we had serve us for lunch today, she simply couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. A customer for life has just been secured!!

Absolute gem. The atmosphere was perfect, great music on not too loud, smelt fantastic and bright and airy. The staff were all lovely. Food was great! The pulled chicken kebab was excellent as was the whipped goats cheese. The chargrilled broccoli was super salty, lemony, garlicky with a nice charred sweetness. We were pretty shocked to hear that they’ll be stopping evening service for a while due them not being busy enough! Cannot understand why that would be the case as it’s brilliant!

The food and place were good. Both fried and pushed were terrificly cooked, and the English tea was a bit lighter than usual. Their wide range of bread was brilliant, and they'd got pretty long last of desert as well. I gave a 4 star as the desert offerings were not warm enough. The service was ok, and the atmosphere was a live one. It was so crowded as it's obviously a well known spot for good food. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience for all. Good luck!

Stopped in for breakfast, and it was amazing. I had the Shashuka with sausage, it was beautiful. Such a lovely deep rich flavour and well balanced, the toast was excellent too. Everyone else's breakfast looked amazing, and everyone was very happy. The spiced chai latte was also lovely. Staff friendly and efficient and the wait wasn't too long for food.

Wonderful spot serving Mediterranean fare. Portions are generous, flavours are on point, and the value for money is insane. Chicken pitta, cumin potatoes, and a tomato couscous salad all for £12.50. The servers made us feel at home and were overall very friendly. Only issue were the flies that were buzzing around the dining room. Probably due to the fresh produce they had displayed... Overall, a great spot if you want something hot and fresh to eat.

Nice place for lunch or drinks. Quite an extended beer list and spoilt for choice with regards to the actual lunch (or breakfast). Generous portions too. They also sell fresh produce if you want to have something to cook at home!

I have never been so impressed with a place to eat as this. We went in for breakfast. I had the veggie breakfast and my husband had the full breakfast. The poached eggs were perfect. My wilted spinach tasted so delicious. My halloumi was scrumptious. The premises was very cool: The right mix of laid-back style and ultra-smart ambience. Even the glass vases that were placed on the middle of each "reclaimed" table were sparklingly clean and contained fresh flowers. As well as the food on the menu, there was a wide range of fresh food and produce to buy to take home; organic vegetables, eggs, local cheeses, olives, & olive oil, fresh, organic milk, freshly baked loaves of bread, muffins and pastries. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Best of all, coming from Manchester, I expected Medina to be hugely expensive but the prices were very reasonable.

Not our first visit which is why we were very glad to be able to visit again for another amazing breakfast. Three different breakfasts catering for different tastes and diets were taken and enjoyed very much. A Shakshuka with added Feta and Merguez sausage was mine and was fabulous. We also had the French Toast with Fruit Compote and also the Potato hash. The coffee was fab too. We will always try and come for breakfast when we're here and hope to come for dinner too.

Delightful, with a sparkling atmosphere, this is a wonderful Café/Restaurant, having four distinct spaces to chat, eat, or just have a coffee. Serving alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, speciality teas, and a full range of coffees. Offering an extensive menu, pastries, and cakes guaranteed to have something for everyone. It has a real community feel and also sells an excellent range of fresh vegetables. It's definitely a place, not to be missed ! On a damp dull day, it's definitely the brightest place to be.

As our locals know that my background as a Glamping Pod business owner is Mediterranean. We love hospitality, good food and a homely environment and we try and reflect that whenever and wherever possible 😊 So, i took myself and my mum to Medina today for brunch and going to Medina restaurant is like going home 🏡 😋 Eating food in there is like getting lost in a side street with full of culture in the Mediterranean.Owner Medina is a lovely local lady who is an absolute delight to talk to , nothing is ever too much for her and her team which she leads a great example for how an establishment should be run! I highly recommend this restaurant based on how they make me feel with their exceptional service, delicious exotic Mediterranean food and all the organic food that you can buy and take it home with you. Dogs unfortunately aren't allowed but they do offer a takeaway service so you can always order a takeaway and eat your food by the prom 👌 You can park at Matalan and Tesco up to 3hours and by the prom up to 4hours x This restaurant is 20 min drive away from our Glamping pods as they're based in the heart of Aberystwyth town. 👌 You don't get a place like this even in the city!

I’ve never experienced a jack of all trades and master of all. Until I visited Medina. If you visit Aberystwyth and require the best fresh, local produce, you need not visit anywhere else. In Aberystwyth. Medina’s Shop & Bakery is the best, - Bakery - Zero Waste Store - Farmers Market Please note, Medina is the only coffee shop serving Artisan coffee in Aberystwyth.

The food tastes fresh and healthy. They have a great variety of food for vegans and vegetarians as well. They have good lunch deals that start from 12pm. I had the pork meatballs with mint yogurt, cumin potatoes and a lentil, spinach and apricot salad. It was very delicious and all worked together beautifully. I would definitely recommend for all.

A friendly welcome by the staff starts off this wonderful experience in what feels like a mixture of art gallery, market place and contemporary restaurant. The menu is modern, with a distinctly Mediterranean feel, with a wide range of options very reasonably priced. The range includes a good variety for vegetarians and vegans, and those on a gluten free diet. The food came quickly, but was obviously freshly cooked, and extremely tasty. The staff ensured our experience was good, were smiley and jokey but not obtrusive. Accessibility for those with limited abilities is not an issue as it is all on one level, with dedicated well adapted washrooms. I am in Aberystwyth I frequently, but will definitely make a point of dining here next time I come.

Very impressed . The food was very fresh ,high quality and well presented. We arrived at a busy time but staff were pleasant and helpful. We chose from the lunch menu and food was delicious, very different from the norm and not over priced. So glad we found this place and highly recommend it.
