Porters Cove - Abersoch - Photo album

The food was very good. There was a long waiting time for it (1 hour) but was still quite worth it. The restaurant is let down by laziness of the staff. The manager was present as well and instead of encouraging the staff to work she joined them in chatting while nobody was offered desert menu or st
Great food, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Thai mussels weren't available but I think this is because they are locally sourced. We had "the works" which was excellent (and just enough left over for a decent doggie bag).
Only place serving food just after 3.00pm. Great service and great food. The bar tender and waiters a job well done.
I have several food allergies; and without much notice provided me with the most amazing meal!
Happy customers helping to review summer menu. Such a happy friendly place very welcoming We tried over 18s prawn cocktail and were in the right place at the right time to help with taste tests.. barman never forgets what you've ordered and dog thoroughly ruined.
Only stopped for quick bite after our walk into Abersoch. Very impressed with the warm and friendly hospitality. Very accommodating and when the food arrived it was excellent. As others have also said portion sizes are very generous. I would have no hesitation in returning here in the evening for a
Myself and my partner had a fantastic meal at the porters cove we went for a plater for 2, I have a good appetite, there was more than enough for 2 and everything was cooked to perfection. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff where very attentive. I will definitely return and reco
I have eaten in a lot of restaurants across UK and the world but this was by far one of the best I've eaten in. The manager was really nice and the staff were so welcoming.they really made us feel like we were in our own restaurant. The service was awesome and the food was absolutely delicious. I wi
Beautifully decorated and furnished, this place is a bit fancy. Holidaymakers sat outside to drink and eat, we had lunch inside. Food is typical gastro dining. Was OK, a little disappointing. Paid £54 for 5 of us so not bad but that's without drinks. Would we go again? Probably not.

Visited on 28th July 2018. Food was excellent . Had cheesy garlic bread as a shared starter that was deep in cheese and very tasty followed by an American hot pizza which was terrific. Really enjoyed it and look forward to going back. Staff very attentive and friendly. I stronlys recommend it.
What can I say - totally fantastic. We arrived Easter Saturday without a booking - it was also our first Wedding Anniversary - we were shown straight through to a table as one had just come free. Tina, the Manageress was delighted that we had chosen to go to their place for our Anniversary and ma
Just had a lovely family meal here, the restaurant is under new ownership from last year and it really shows. Excellent food and excellent service. We will definitely be back :)
Excellent food and very friendly staff, bring a big appetite as the meals are large. If you're brave or very hungry they do a sharing meat platter which looks amazing.
