Stopped for a lunchtime drink, and the food looked so good we stayed for that too!
Very helpful staff, who despite the heat stayed cheerful and attentive.
Great place to sit inside/outside.
The bar area is great. The staff were lovely and friendly. It was a bit cold in the restaurant (but it was blowing a gale outside). The starters (baby back ribs and beetroot falafel) were lovely - but main course red mullet Thai curry was average (although the veg was lovely). The white rice was way overcooked though.
Initially our party of 9 was told they couldn't cater without us prebooking, but the manageress quickly corrected the server as they weren't too busy.
I had a Zinc burger and fries. It was OK, literally just a beef burger and piece of lettuce on a bun with a bit of mayo. Would have liked a bit of salad on it, tomatoes onion etc to liven it up. Only additional extras for it were cheese/bacon. Fries were nice. It was £15. Not sure it was worth 15 quid, but prices everywhere are wild at the moment so who knows!
Excellent, polite staff, food was locally sourced and great (sausages and lamb burger were great).
Prices sensible.
Very clean in the cafe and toilets well kept.
Great effort made with children - plastic cup and staff tried hard with him.
Only disappointment was seeing a special winter warmer drink on the specials board I couldnt have as i was driving !
I called in here for a coffee initially seated front of house .I was then offered a seat in the back lovely views settee cosy comfy for one . My cappochino great service and coffee served extra hot one shot with a smile. As somone visiting a local I enjoyed the mo.ent . Go they will make you feel welcome
Popped on for a late breakfast.. what can I say, excellent service, great food, and the view from the rear dining room helped top a fab visit.
A group of eight us popped in here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon during the half term holidays. We were immediately greeted by several very friendly members of staff, and seated in their outdoor terrace in glorious sunshine! The food we ordered was fantastic, and the staff even more so! Definitely recommend Zinc if you're hungry and in the area! Thanks for having us. 😊

Loved it! Deliciously cooked and served, great warm and professional service, hospitable. Had seared scallops for first and an aged rib eye for main; all cooked to perfection. The ice cream was incredibly good!
Really nice place to eat, food was beautiful and the service was amazing such a nice young lady. Would recommend going to this bar.

Turned away at 2:59 pm ..wouldn't serve 2 people. Returned nwxt day Atmosphere good, service good..Great views. Would return
Absolutely loved our trip for our anniversary meal here, the service was exemplary, the food was delicious and thd atmosphere friendly, modern and lively. Loved it and will be back.
