I stopped in the Whistle Stop cafe for something to eat before catching my train, what a treat! It's a really quaint cafe, the staff are lovely and the coffee was really nice. I ordered an all day breakfast and it was fantastic, really thick bacon and lovely eggs. It is worth stopping in there even

I missed my train sat down quite annoyed, in the corner of my eye I see that the Cafe was open. Turns out missing my train was a blessing in disguise...Nice coffee, quick cheese and ham toastie at a decent price. The waiter is chatty and very friendly. Enjoyed it so much I had a bacon roll as well.

My train got delayed by an hour so when I walked into the station cafe I was quite annoyed. But the really friendly service and lovely food soon cheered me up. Great find!

Imagine being 50 years old and discovering the best cheese toasty in the world, or my world at the least! As for the service and the environment, outstanding !!! Friendly homely place, reasonably priced, good all-round range of food. Lovely to have it when trains are delayed (happens too often) and the platforms are cold.

Very friendly, appropriately named cafe on Abergavenny railway station. Lovely welcome, excellent food and plenty of it, all reasonably priced. The owner even gives out food-based trivia!

This is a very nice station buffet with a decent range of snacks drinks and papers. The owner Alan is a great character who makes every visit an entertainment.

Been here a couple times food has always been lovely never had an issue reasonably price and the two ladies behind the counter are very lovely always smiling and willing to chat.
