Quite simply the best burger I've ever tasted. And at £5.95 for a classic burger it's about 1/3 the price of somewhere like Miller and Carter which doesn't even come close.

Excellent pre-theatre meal. I had the burger and it was the best burger I've had for an age.
Meal was excellent and very well presented and staff polite and very good value for money will def vist here for food whenever i'm in Abergavenny and reccomend the Auberge Bar & Restaurant to all .... Try it out you will not be dissappointed

Great gem of a venue which is dog friendly. Lots of comfortable seating indoor as well as picnic benches next to kids play area outside. Food was amazing and filling. I had the pulled pork on flatbread and I could hardly finish it and that is saying something. In law had Southern Fried chicken on flat bread and loved it. Came with taste coleslaw and great fries. Rest of the family had various burgers including Classic, Mexican and pulled pork. All stuffed now.
Only drawback, gents toilet need an upgrade. But apart from that with drinks reasonably priced, this has been my best eat out ever.
Came here again in the afternoon. Sat out the beer garden. Really nice atmosphere. 2 for 1 cocktails are a big hit.
Food very good and well priced. Staff friendly. A little tricky to get a wheelchair in but thanks to help from the staff we managed.

Just back from an excellent works Xmas do. We were given the seating at the back which was great. The staff were so lovely and attentive even though we were quite rowdy being 20+ of us. We could order drinks at the bar and the bar staff would bring it to our table. The food was excellent. The Christmas meal was huge and delicious couldn’t fault it. So much so we could manage a pudding. A lot of people didn’t have from the Christmas menu but again the meals were huge and everyone thought their meals were great. Excellent venue for food, friendliness and service. We’ll book again.
Another lovely meal at The Auberge..it really is one of the best places for food in Abergavenny! Lovely staff who are always friendly as well..but really..the food is fab!
We a group of retired people go out every month for lunch. This was our first visit here. Although I couldn't find a menu on the web page or Facebook page it turned out not to be a problem. We were seated by friendly staff and were brought menus which had something for everyone. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. The portions were quite large which left no room for a dessert. We will definitely visit again.
We visited Auberge today didn't book just walk in. The staff were friendly and well presented. We ordered our food after about 15 mins only one meal turned up unfortunately the other meal had been dropped, we said we wanted to eat together so they took other meal back and promptly offered us drinks on the house. Our meals eventually arrived member of staff very apologetic, food was worth the wait, service great too. Happy New Year 🎉

Relaxing environment, great coffee and cocktails, interesting interior design and very friendly attentive staff. We are regulars at the Auberge wether it's just for a coffee, a meal or a night out.
Very much enjoyed my steak meal.

Absolutely tasty huge burger here, the best in town. Well presented lovely helpful staff and half price on a Monday. Also the cocktails are amazing. Sat outside lovely and clean and it looks lovely when the sun goes down almost felt like I was abroad.
2nd time visiting and again didn't disappoint. Lovely food and piping hot. Always a bonus in my book!
