Cycle touring in Wales and stopped off at this brilliant place to stock up the panniers. Foccacia was excellent and the chocolate brownie - well it was the best I've ever eaten.

Beautiful fresh bread, pastries looked amazing, but avoided temptation. Coffee to go made me very happy that the container was fully compostable. I will be back οΏ½

This gorgeous hotel with pretty nooks and roaring fireplaces has won heaps of plaudits for their afternoon teas including the The Tea Guild's most prestigious award, the Top City and Country Hotel Tea Award. I can understand why. The Wedgewood Room, where afternoon tea is taken, is a classy affair that balances classic and contemporary design. We had the best seats in the house sat next to the fire.

A quick stop to grab a takeaway focaccia sandwich for our climb up Sugar Loaf (and a cinnamon bun obvs πŸ‘€) These summit sandwiches definitely didn't disappoint. I can't remember what the fillings were exactly but one was a combination of aubergine, some sort of delicious cream cheese and lettuce. The other was prosciutto, tomato and aioli 🀀 πŸ“… Visited in September 2023

Best sourdough bread in the UK. Lived in Melbourne, Australia (land of foodies) for years and love finding great quality products in Wales. Devastated that you can't get it in Cardiff anymore from Hard Lines cafe or the market. Please open a branch in Cardiff!!!

This is a fantastic bakery with patient, welcoming staff who are happy to answer any questions you might have and advise you. The baked goods and artisanal bread on offer are delicious- the croissants are really fantastic as somebody who has tried many all over the place! Quality local produce and dairy are also available hrre but as part of a limited range, which is understandable. I will definitely be recommending Angel Bakery to others and visiting again

Possibly the best loaf of bread I have ever tasted and I have tasted a lot of bread. Fresh ground coffee and cakes available along with many other artisan breads. An incredible find.

One of the best bakeries you will find outside of Paris! The selection is always fresh and there is something for everyone. Unbeatable :)
