My friend and i were sat in Wetherspoons, looked at the menu, found nothing we liked so went on the hunt for something different and found this Gem. We had a very nice meal and the staff were lovely. Definitely going to return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ only because we got there at the end of the day and they were packing up around us. Not their fault, they have probably had a very busy day and just want to go home! Really amazing vegan lemon cake, and nice coffee too. Give it a visit.

Have salmon & egg mayo sandwich on white with coleslaw and crisps and a latte. My friend had wedges with chilli & cheese and a pot of tea. We sat outside in the glorious sunshine just chatting, relaxing and enjoying the food and atmosphere. We followed our delicious lunch with cake. My friend had the prosecco & orange cake, while I opted for the chocolate & orange cake, accompanied by another pot of tea and a chair latte for me.

Absolutely fantastic place! So much to compliment I don't know where to start! Lovely cafe with loads of outdoor seating for a coffee in the sun. Staff were absolutely lovely and helped us find a table despite it being very busy. Food came out quickly and table service was a lovely touch! And the food, OH WOW THE FOOD 😍 I had the full English breakfast and an incredible sausage roll. Haven't had such a good English breakfast in a very long time! Meanwhile, my mum is coeliac (gluten free) but had no trouble eating. A gluten free toastie with gluten free chipsticks that she was very happy with. All in all, a lovely experience at an absolutely excellent cafe!

Had an issue with my drink which I addressed to a member of staff who did not hesitate to change my drink. Overall, brilliant service from all the staff who served me. Will definitely be coming back.

Now this is a beautiful, rustic little place, very fitting of Abergavenny. The veggie breakfast alone is worth a visit for, and they know how to make coffee properly too. Quite small, but never had a problem getting a table for 3 in the mid Saturday afternoon (our usual visiting time). The bread that came with the lovely soup was crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, and even with a cancer-compromised pharynx, I was able to swallow it. Polite and friendly staff. Also the tornado of a standing fan near the toilets is wonderful for cooling off on hot days.

Good food at a reasonable price, great coffee and a good cake selection. Lots of chefs specials which change regularly. I highly recommend the bacon brie and cranberry baguette, I could eat that every day.
