Much better than expected.
The place looks a little run down, but to be fair they've only just reopened after a long lockdown. The staff were super friendly and approachable. The food was freshly made and great value. Simple pub grub but what's wrong with that?

Staff couldn't be anymore helpful, very generous portions, cooked beautifully and an excellent service, could not rate it enough! When our taxi arrived a little earlier than expected, the staff went out to offer the taxi driver hot drinks and snacks which was a lovely gesture given it was freezing

Absolutely love this place the owner is a lovely old man with a life time of stories and the pub itself is steeped in history. The food is fantastic and value for money and the views from the windows are to die for. If you're lucky you'll also see the pictures on the wall move and fall on the floor

This pub is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, with impressive views over the nearby valley.
