Haven’t been here in years.Called in for lunch on a Thursday and found was fabulous- I had Pheasant breast and wife had Beef and Stilton pie. Both cooked and prepared really well.
Will definitely return!

Under recent new ownership. A really nice little pub. We stopped for food and it was very nice and reasonable. Staff were friendly and attentive. A very pleasant lunch. And it's dog friendly!

Great home cooked food, great welcome, friendly staff, would visit again!
What a lovely place with great proper home cooked food. We were looking for somewhere to eat in Abergavenny that had a good menu and was dog friendly. Luckily there was a chalk board on the high street that showed the menu and pointed us in the right direction otherwise we wouldn't have found it.

Simple but nice
Lovely lunch, roast lamb was amazing! The selection of vegetables was brilliant, great value for money, very tasty and excellent service in lovely surroundings. Will definitely come back again next time we are on holiday or maybe before we go home. Cant have too much roast Welsh lamb.
Excellent food and service. Very welcoming. Very reasonably priced. Best Sunday lunch out as everything is homemade. Been returning here on a regular basis for the last 5 years.

Excellent Sunday Lunch. Fantastic week menu. You need to book for Sunday Lunch. Wonderful staff. Excellent cooking. Friendly atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.
