We’ve been coming to the Wedgewood Room for over 10 years. And it is fabulous that they can do a gluten free option. But unfortunately I have to say it’s not quite how I remember it. Now at £46 for a high tea service, it’s not really enough food to justify the price. Service is fine. Room is very plain and lacking in atmosphere for us…

Birthday High Tea was a wonderful experience here. Everything from start to finish was brilliant. The ambiance, service, bone china, savouries, cakes scones and sandwiches were all first class. The selection of teas and history of each was fascinating. Went with my daughter and we were not disappointed. Would go back many times but for the fact I live over two hours away. The Ritz of London has competition! Well done to staff and management.

Great company, great service and great food. Our group went for high tea in the Wedgewood room and we all really enjoyed our the experience. My particular favourite was the coffee and walnut cake. Also as it was such a hot day I swapped earl grey for and iced coffee, which was very refreshing and we'll worth a try.

What an amazing afternoon tea. Enjoyed every minute, excellent service particularly from Patrick. One of our party was gluten free and his experience was just as good. A very special 5 star afternoon tea experience.

Lovely Afternoon/High Tea experience. The Wedgewood Room is cosy with a gentle background music. The waiting staff are attentive and helpful with menu choices/tea pairings. The pastries, sandwiches and cakes were all freshly made and lovely. Even the boxes for take home of leftovers are beautifully presented. Seats are comfortable and the China is beautiful. Staff happy to take and return cloaks to/from clock room. Public Car Park is pay and display but free on Sunday. Hotel car park can be difficult to get a space in. Recommended.
