We are local but had some friends from abroad to stay and wanted to share a British high tea experience. It was nothing short of magnificent, a huge selection, everything generous, homemade and delicious. Unbelievably good value. Our friends were most impressed. (And we all got a doggy box for leftovers to take home!).
As ever service was very friendly and helpful, always a warm welcome here.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
(Ps the afternoon tea needs booking in advance).
Thank the gods for Llys Llewellyn. The bloke was told there was a pub half way round the walk but it was shut on arrival (Sunday). Then a shining oasis on the horizon: a licensed tea room with picnic benches in the sun.
And all the food was twice the expected portion size!! That's the cheesiest Welsh rarebit ever and the local beer was really good.
And rhubarb custard crumble ice cream too.
The most amazing Victoria sponge cake was had in this lovely little cafe. Great choice on the menu with good waitress service. What's not to like really....
An unexpected find - breakfast bap is a huge delicious mouthful, my man loved it. I enjoyed the way to many sausages, sausage bap. Good coffee, us Canadians really appreciate that. Purchase a fresh loaf of Bara Brith - perfect purchase!!!
Lovely welcoming staff, everyone smiling and hard working.
It was great to be able to see through to the kitchens and see it was well organised and the staff were all working together.
This place does the best vegan sausage rolls, way better than G**gs. The chocolate fudge cake is delicious, with a very generous sized portion, great coffee too. The loos are spotlessly clean.
Absolute little gem. Very hearty, good food and it's always served hot. The cakes are gorgeous, especially the brownie and rocky road, and the breakfasts are awesome! Really set you up for a day walking around the beautiful island of Anglesey. They do Sunday lunch too but it's advisable to book as it gets very busy. The Sunday lunches are awesome aswell. In fact, we've always had very good meals here. Highly recommend 👌
We had a lovely lunch at this cafe. The food was great and there were no small portions. The staff were articulate and friendly, we ate outside and really enjoyed our snack. Well worth a stop if you are in Aberffraw beach or Artisum Gallery.
We had breakfast.Great choice of food available and all cooked to order. Spotlessly clean, brilliant service and the food is excellent. We were walking the coastal path, so a perfect start for our day. Dog friendly too.
HIGHLY recommend! Best quality breakfast I've had in a long time. Every ingredient was spot on. I'll definitely be returning if I'm ever in the area. Lovely outdoor seating area also. R x
Fabulous cafe where I have visited and eaten on many occasions over the last 5 years I've holidayed in Anglesey. They do delicious home made food, breakfasts I can highly recommend a good start for the day leaving you stuffed full you will probably won't need lunch! Situated next to Aberffraw estuary and beach after you've eaten you can walk it off strolling along the estuary and taking in the beautiful scenery then return as I do to the cafe for a cuppa and a lovely warmed Welsh cake, highly recommended.
