Visited last night for the first time, for the street food menu. Greated warmly by Amber at the door and shown to my table, she sorted out drinks and let me look over the menu and gave me a brief on what to expect as it was my first visit. Very friendly and helped out me at ease as I was on my own after my friend fell ill and couldn't attend with me. Great care was taken to explain each dish as it was served and every dish was beautifully presented. I was very early, after travelling through from Fraserburgh and having to travel home so I arrived to an empty restaurant, but by the time I left at about 18:30 the place was packed and had an electric atmosphere. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and welcoming. The street food menu was wonderful and the first dish, gochujang pork steamed bun was an absolute knocked out. I'd happily have eaten 6 dishes of just that. I also opted for both snacks, a mac and cheese croquette and fresh bread with a wonderfully light, whipped smoked butter. Definitely recommended and I hope to come back to try another menu soon.

Fantastic experience! First time we have been to a set tasting menu and we would highly recommend it. We had 'the chippe' menu and every course was full of flavour. Very nice stylish interior and staff were polite and knowledgeable telling us exactly what was on the plate for every course. Will be back next month. One thing I have to comment on is the service charge, I don't believe in it myself so asked for it to be removed.

We had the Once Upon a Time menu. Nice place, and the food and service were excellent. We found it very noisy, maybe that was because it was a Saturday afternoon?

This is the second time I come here. I am not gonna lie I preferred the Greek menu over the Lisbon one but that is just my preference. I still love the restaurant, the waiter super chatty and lovely and the desserts are always amazing.

Superb night out. We did the tasting and wine menu which is really nice. Made even better when there are those at the table that don't like certain wines to which I volunteered to assist in the drinking of those wines. Food was excellent, and courses were a decent size compared to some other tasting menus I have had. Cocktails were different to the standard cocktails you get in most bars which went down a treat. Will definitely be back.

Dinner for 4, with the Japanese tasting menu and matched wines. The food was really good, more influenced by Japan than truly authentic. Portions were just right, not too big and not too small. The drinks were well matched. Service was friendly, knowledgable and relaxed. All in it was a little over £100 per person which is the only draw back.

Travelled through from Inverness, just for this. Was not disappointed. Food absolutely delicious, cocktails amazing . The 80's sound track just the icing on the cake. Our fellow diners were a really friendly, chatty bunch. We were all looked after by the amazing Amber who was friendly, efficient and made us all feel well catered for and looked after. She must be such an asset to the company. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for a great culinary experience. Special thanks to Amber. You are a star.

Great place to spend quality time with friends! We've been as party of four. One of us has shellfish allergy and the restaurant accommodated our needs no problem. Wine was excellent. Happy to see Aberdeen getting such a lovely place to dine. Cannot wait what's next! Bogdan took care of us very well! Thank you!

Myself and 3 others went for the Greek menu, opting to go with starters, aperitif & the wine pairings as added extras. Good range of plates. Full of flavour. The attention to detail is very evident. Mousakka was not what I was expecting at all, was more akin to a cheese soup with minced lamb through it. Different but tasty all the same. Some courses included Italian wines instead of Greek ones however they’ve obviously spent a lot of time getting good complementing tastes. Service was relaxed, casual and attentive. Not a fan of restaurants automatically adding a service charge (12.5%) as would liked to have chosen own amount. Will probably visit again when the menu changes. 👍🏼

Amazing experience of flavours. Remember you're not going there to be fed but experience tastes and flavours. A little chaotic occasionally like waiting for cutlery or drinks. Or a bin being carried through

It was wonderful. Food is fabulous. Our waiter Jacob was very attentive and interested in us. My only complaint would be that it was very busy and noisy. Tables are very close together.

Lovely meal this evening , once upon a time. Our first time at Six By Nico food was lovely especially the pudding. Unfortunately we were on the third course when I had to ask about the wine taster. The waiter apologised and said he could bring it then . Unfortunately he had went on his break and the other waiter didn’t know we hadn’t been asked. Will definitely be back and remember to ask for the wine which I think would have made our experience even better.

Been here a good few times and the food is always amazing. They make you try things you never would and it's amazing service. The wait staff we had last time were amazing. The atmosphere hets 3/5 stars because as much as I love this place I just wish they got rid of 2 or 3 tables. It's so so packed.

I recently had the New York menu. Food was very good and well presented. Staff were very knowledgeable about the dish being served which was nice. Seating was not great as we were placed on the end next to a walkway and underneath a AC unit which was blowing cool air onto myself and partner. I sat with my coat on and eventually we asked to be moved as it was just too cold. We normally leave a tip however hidden service charge was a surprise and more than the usual tip therefore didn’t bother. I would like to go back again however will ensure I am specific on above details at the time of booking.

I was very impressed and surprised by Six by Nico, to start with I was very impressed with the presentation of the food which was amazing, and secondly I have always been quantity rather than quality eater so wasn't to sure if I would be full enough after visiting, so was very surprised when I came away feel very full and happy with myself. And the restaurant is very modern and bright in side and the staff were truly amazing and knew the dishes inside out and were very happy to answer any questions you have about the menu. And there were also vegan and vegetarian menu's to pick from. Would highly recommend going if you haven't been and personally can't wait to go again myself.

Worth the hype (and take my money)! Went for dinner and drinks for two, earlier in the evening. Great and speedy service, very friendly and well-trained staff. The floor manager was superbly in control of everything happening. Felt like we were looked after and cared for. The food was to die for! As a tasting menu (we had the regular menu), the portions were on the smaller side, but we didn't walk away hungry. The courses very well put together and each played well with the theme (The Chipper). There was a clear progression of flavours, textures and colours. There were many surprises and playful elements which made eating fun and enjoyable, never knowing what would come next. The food came out in a very orderly manner, it even sometimes felt like it was coming very fast. But there was plenty of time between courses to cleanse the palate and watch the open kitchen work in harmony. The cocktails were incredible too. Slightly on the pricier side, but they used top shelf spirits and ingredients. The Irish coffee was the best I've ever had, and the Sazerac was fantastic. The decor and design were impeccable resulting in a very chic vibe. Very youthful, playful and straight up cool. Definitely worth a visit if you live in Aberdeen, are visiting, or just passing through. Very affordable for what you get and something that Aberdeen has direly needed for a long time. Bringing that youthful energy and fun to a drab and tired city.
