We ordered our first takeaway last night and this is now my favourite. The food was absolutely fantastic and great prices. I would say the food was actually better than a lot of actual Indian restaurants, for a takeaway it was 10/10. We also got our food delivered, which was delivered on time and still lovely and warm. The portion sizes are big too, so we even have enough for dinner tonight 🤗
By far this Indian Takeaway makes the best Shami Kebab in Aberdeen! No gristle or fatty bits just succulent lamb.
I have tried all of the Indian restaurants and takeaways selling this and I can confirm Safwan make the best. Served with side salad, tomato/onion salad, mango sauce & mild mint yoghurt sauce. Best value in town too when you order directly from them on their website.
I absolutely love the food from here and order all the time! Huge variety, great prices but most importantly, tastes like actual food I would get back in India! Staff are also always polite and helpful.
Such good food and the prices are one of the lowest in Aberdeen. Beatiful and massive portions. Plenty of chicken/lamb in the dishes and a £3.5 starter could easily be a main course. We're regulars, highly recommend.
This was my first experience of Safwan, the menu read well and price level seemed good value. I placed my order online and had it confirmed with a 45 minute delivery time but at 35 minutes overdue I phoned Safwan where they confirmed they were running late and were genuinely apologetic about the delay. The delivery was completed 50 minutes overdue which prejudiced my opinion but only for a few moments until we got into the food. All Change. The food was excellent, flavours delicate and everything cooked to perfection. With that change of mood I immediately regret not tipping the delivery guy.
I will revisit Safwan, I know I'll enjoy the food I order, I will request a realistic delivery schedule and I will tip the delivery guy next time.
Give them a go for your next Indian meal, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent meal delivered by Safwan. Great quality and not generic flavours like other options; the meat was superb especially and overall was excellent value. I look forward to my next order!
