Recently got to try Aberdam's offerings through the 2 vans visiting Fraserburgh. I missed the last visit so was really looking forward to this. The queuing was a little haphazard and, with the 2 vans, it was a little confusing if you ordered at one for both (you didn't). I arrived quite early at 16:25, with 2 people in the queue infront of me and I had a 45 minute wait for my food. By the time I left the queue must have been 20+ people deep (causing issues for parking and leaving) but it is a popular thing when it comes to town. The staff in the burger van could also have been a bit louder when calling out orders if I'm honest. It also created a big issue with people ordering from both vans but one order being ready about 20 minutes before then other. But everyone was in good spirits and still a good atmosphere. It may be time to start looking at a better location for it though, with a larger car park and better orginisation for the queues. (factory shop, college car park, lesuire centre, lighthouse museum etc). My food was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. My "dirty dirty pig" burger was excellent. Juicy burgers with gooey cheese and chorizo, honestly a real pleasure. But I genuinly couldn't have told you there were any crispy onions in it. I ordered the large fries with pigasus seasoning (cheese, bacon and jalapeño) and the Carolina mustard bbq sauce. The fries themselves were excellent, crispy and fresh, but I'm 100% sure they forgot the seasoning, there was no flavour or signs of it on the fries. The sauce was... OK. I expected a punch from the mustard and a tang and it was fine but didn't pack the punch I really expected. So, after the hype, it was a mixed bag. My food was still very good and I'll definately make a point of going again. Maybe a couple of things slipped a little due to the amount of people and a few wrinkles could be ironed out but it is a pop up location and it's never going to be as smooth as a service in a shop/restaurant.

Great concept. Love the name. I travel to Amsterdam a lot and they use the traditional Dutch sauces here, the same as in Holland. Great chips, with a variety of other options too. We went for what we know as the traditional way to have chips in Holland and it was very close to the Dutch standards.

Went here with a friend I was visiting, I don't have a taste for spicy food so ordered some chips topped with chicken and a cheese burger as I was famished while ordering (never a good combo lol) the chips were incredible, I can not praise them enough. The burger was an odd one, a resonable size I suppose for the price but was rather spicy, now unsure if its me but I do not expect a cheese burger to be spicy, so I didn't enjoy that one, no where does it mention this fact on the menu either. So in all stick with the chips and enjoy your meal. :)

If you want amazing food with a bit of something special Aberdam is the place to go in Aberdeen. We sat in the Ivy Lounge connected to Aberdam and it was amazing. You can eat in and order takeaway or go through online apps for local delivery! Just delicious!

If you're looking for a legit smashburger experience that is a few steps above Five Guys, do yourself a favour and give this place a go. Plus, the added advantage of having righteous loaded chips that other places don't have. That said, a burger and chips is a lot of food, was a struggle to put down, but christ was it good! Friendly staff, funky location, 100% enjoyable.

We got two loaded fries boxes when the Aberdam Van came to Greyhope Bay. Both were super flavourful and really big portions. Love all of their seasonings, would reccomend!

DAM the food at Aberdam is to DIE FOR! The loaded fries and the burgers are amazing! You definitely get what you pay for and never a disappointment when ordering here. We ordered via a partner app and the food arrived in a timely manner. I would highly recommend the mac and cheese bites, lil dam burger and braveheart loaded fries. Will definitely order again from Aberdam 🙌

Amazing variety on the menu, everything sounds and looks delicious! First time going but will 100% be back. Food tastes freshly made and looks exactly how they post it online, down to the little touches. Would recommend to anyone.

Aberdam had a van in Fraserburgh on Wednesday 19th April and I was struck about how different they were in their menu, how different they were with regards to customer service. By that I mean I've seen food combos I couldn't imagine myself but that seemed to work, they fulfilled my food on the spot "freshly" so understandably I had to wait 2 minutes. If I remember correctly I had Buffalo Blue, even though I found it slightly pricey I enjoyed my food. I might be back some other time...

Honestly the best place you can go in Aberdeen for food, awesome frys, amazing sides. And some of the most creative burgers out there with the best taste! And then the atmosphere itself? Next level!
