This is the most delicious Indian meal I have tasted in the whole of Scotland. I have visited several. But in Travancore the food is top notch, the service is excellent. Very polite and friendly staff.
The food and the staff has been so good over here, that in my 3 months internship duration, I've gone here more than 5 times. Note that I don't eat out that often as I cook at home. Love this place so much and would 💯 recommend the Thali and Anda Curry and the Appam with rh Coconut Milk. They are all diving and the Vegetarian Thali was one of the best things I've ever had!
Without a doubt the best Indian/curry place in Aberdeen. A step above the standard good Indian fare. The team at Travancore did win some best curry awards, and very much deserved. The service is friendly and even reasonably efficient on a busy evening. The portions are generous, so don’t overload on starters as tempting as it is, leave room for the curry and on occasion there is a dessert on the house…..
Lovely food and very reasonably priced. Don't expect the standard Indian restaurant fare though, but genuine delicious regional food from Kerala. Friendly and efficient staff as well.
Very well cooked and nicely presented. Good to see a kerala themed restaurant here. I recommend the fished cooked in banana leaves. the spice paste was delicious.
Possibly best dining experience in the UK. Cannot recommend enough. Beautifully crafted food. Perfectly balanced spices. Great service. Thank you for making our dining experience exceptional. 5 star family dining in Aberdeen.
Been there twice for dine in loved the masala dosa mainly and staff service and recommendation for food. If you are a foodie and wanna try something try this place's food you will absolutely love it. 😄😋
Went on a dismal friday night during the local restaurant week to Travancore and was not disappointed . Service was exceptionally good from the staff and the food was great , only dissapointment i had was the blandness of the Uzhunnu Vada {lentil fritters} but this was made up for by the exquisite Malabar chicken curry and then the vermicelli pudding which was fanatastic , weve already made plans to go back for a regular meal and to try some of the items which werent on the special menu ie the Dosa
Some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten. Really really good food, lovely service and the prices are reasonable.
We had two different kinds of bread, a chicken curry and aubergine curry. On our way now to go there a second time in two days.
Absolutely brilliant eating experience; everything from this food to service was faultless.
I'm definitely going back soon!
