Mike’s are never a disappointment, it may seem pricey but take away the VAT and it’s good value, great quality and very tasty. Friendly service too.

At the car wash so decided to treat ourselves to Mike's standard fish supper it was delicious, served with a smile and the gentleman was friendly. One website said they open at 3.30 and we were going to wait, great they open at 3.00. Late lunch. Hadn't been to Mike's for over 3yrs. We will be back again

Food on point, Service even better. That young lad that run’s it goes far and Beyond to help you out. Staff are lovely and the new shop in Blackburn where you can sit in is excellent! The ambience in the Blackburn shop is great. Our new Friday night sit in treat! Thanks To the Mike’s team.

We got there about 5pm and no queues. Quick turnaround for two standard haddock @ just over 9 quid each .... ouch! Been a while since c I bought a carry out chippie. Very nice fish and chips well cooked and parcelled. Might be nice to throw in some peas for free at that price?

They say it’s famous and there’s a reason for that…lovely fish and chips, and was impressed by the “we’ll give you a number and call it out when it’s ready” system. Which is needed as it was very busy! No seating area at the venue but there’s no shortage of park benches nearby for al fresco fish and chip fun.

Been going to Mike's for years. Definitely the best Fish & Chip shop in Aberdeen and I've tried all the major ones. The quality is just noticeably better, no soggy batter! Staff are always friendly and the service is snappy. Wouldn't go anywhere else again.

Mike's Famous Fish and Chips is very good as it has adequate parking near to the entrance, has a clear system for placing your order and an obvious flow to the queue - there's nothing worse than going in a chip shop and wondering where to stand. There are lovely big windows so you can watch all the poor commuters sitting in traffic. It has recently been revamped with new clearly displayed menus and the food is cooked to order so no reheated soggy food. The prices are competitive and the food always tastes fresh. The fish is also a good test of a chip shops quality and it has been good on numerous occasions but that probably shouldn't be a surprise given the location of Aberdeen and the coastal influence.

Great chips, all we can comment on as that's all we had, they had big chunky chips, crisp, fluffy and tasty.
