The staff on the highlander bus are fantastic! We had a large group of about 18 people enjoy some hot drinks after a charity walk we were doing along the beach yesterday morning. The owner of the bus was very kind and because we were raising money for charity - she took 20% off the bill. Very kind gesture and very much appreciated. Emotions were high yesterday and a kind thing like that goes a long way. Highly recommend this bus for a nice cuppa and cake �Thanks Sally
It’s different, if you’re looking for high luxury cafe with posh things then this is not the right place for you, but if you’re looking for friendly atmosphere, greatest view of the beach, fresh food that makes you � hot drinks to keep you cosy and a lovely owner then this is the right place for you!:) can’t wait to go back!
My wife and I had an amazing time at the highlander bus cafe during a morning visit to the beach. We ordered a Scottish breakfast coupled with some hot drinks. Our experience at highlander was exceptional, it was a delight to relax and enjoy the beautiful view alongside a hot, fresh and tasty meal.

The food was amazing and fresh! Nothing more delightful than eating great food with great scenery. The warmth of the proprietor and staff also made for a delightful experience! I would definitely recommend.
An impromptu sunday visit ended up in a lovely lunch on a bus along the beach front. Lovely staff, lovely food, and as far as value for money goes i would say it is as good as it gets. We were £12.00 � Something on the menu for everyone and caters for young children too. We will be back to try the evening menu sometime soon :)

Been along to the Highlander Cafe Bus a couple of times now and both times the food has been so tasty and the service has been brilliant! A great place to stop in after a long walk on the beach.
Excellent bacon and egg softies (ate 2!) and pretty good espresso ( that’s a very good coffee rating for me as I am a coffee snob ...). Great view of the wind and rain lashing down on the (mad) surfers !

I visited briefly recently to get breakfast, first time having a meal on a Bus Cafe, so that was a great experience.
Beautifully decorated, with lots of homage to the beach.
Of course the breakfast burrito was very good. Definitely will return soon
Had an amazing lunch today. The staff are always friendly and the service is great creating a very welcoming vibe. My second time here was by no accident and I'm sure there will be many more visits. The pork belly burger is delicious and so was the double decker cheeseburger. Would highly recommend every time.
It was amazing to have breakfast and coffee on the beach and the staff is lovely. Last time I saw 6 dolphins from the table and it was unbelievable! Definitely a place to comeback. Thank you!
Finally a place which is not overpriced. 20% extra if you sit in but worth it. The atmosphere is unique. Food is excellent (taste, quality)

We had driven up to Aberdeen on a customer delivery for the gallery and having a little spare time we did our usual trick of using Google to find a ‘cafe near me’.
This fabulous bus was one of the offerings on the Google list and seeing as we love something different it was an obvious choice!
The bus is fab! Bright red and hard to miss, parked right on the beachfront! It has an excellent menu and the prices are really reasonable!
We’d had no lunch having been driving all day, so we opted for the 6oz steak burger with a side of fries, it was excellent! Really tasty and proper skin-on fries too!
We had a coffee with milk and also a tea and the whole bill was just shy of £20 which we felt was good value!
You can get anything to take-away but we sat in and upstairs there are stools with a window view, or train-style sets of 4 bus seats with a table. They even had seatbelts still attached! All inside seating is upstairs so there are the traditional bus stairs to get up but the handrail is good and strong!
The views out to sea are fabulous. You can see the wind farm and all the big ships coming in to and leaving the port.
The view along the coast is very pretty and the promenade walk stretches quite a distance. Today was sunny and bright with a nice breeze and there were plenty of people but it still didn’t feel busy.
There are no toilets at the bus but if you walk along the road towards the lighthouse end then there is a big white building with good clean public toilets.
We really enjoyed our short visit to this part of Aberdeen, it felt very relaxed and not rushed and that’s exactly what you need from a short break on a long road-trip!

So different ... yes, we had a coffee morning catch up on the bus. It was a Fun surrounding, great service, very polite professional staff.
The food served was good. No toilet facility on the bus but they're situated closed to public toilets at the foot of Dee ( Fittie).
It was a pleasant experience and very popular.
Absolutely loved the place. We dined in and the place is so lovely and unique. The coffee was delicious and chips were yummy
Good value for the money. The food was fantastic, and the service was warm and competent. We try their cheeseburger and chips, both of which are delicious. Would without a doubt suggest this location.
