Looking for a place for a nice local place for lunch or Dinner this place gives you that. Not only that you will leave a changed person. For someone who is not a cake person my mind was changed with the flavoursome cakes on offer. Definitely worth a visit and Coffee is top notch! Would recommend to anyone! Super friendly owners also!
While on a trip from Ireland wedding dress shopping with my sister we booked a table here for lunch. My daughter and I had Soup of the day with a sandwich, homemade cream of chicken soup, wow it was amazing my daughter who never tries anything different absolutely loved it. Compliments to the chef who even gave me the recipe to make it at home which I have done already � Unfortunately for me the cakes are that amazing they had all sold out before we got there so now I'm looking forward to my sisters wedding to sample Bev's baking, no doubt on the next dress fitting trip we will be returning here for lunch. Highly recommend this bistro for fresh delicious food and wonderfully friendly owners, thanks for the experience �
Amazing homemade food. Service is excellent, if you haven't been to try then I would recommend doing so to anyone that is a food lover.

After searching for a new place to try afternoon tea we came across Bev’s on social media.
After looking through all of the amazing photos we thought we must give it a try!
Definitely the best afternoon tea we have ever been to. We were extremely impressed at how fresh & locally produced the food was… highly recommend!
The food lived up to the reviews I read before booking. Bev was so gracious and kind when I embarrassingly realised I had only booked for five people. She quickly arranged two more platters, which is no mean feat as Bev makes everything from scratch. Thanks Bev for such a lovely afternoon lunch and for putting up with my scattyness!
You really should give it a try! The food is amazing, the owners are kind and they take time to speak with you. And most important: prices are also good!! You have a homemade quality at the same price of poor quality in a fast food chain restaurants. They also propose a take away service
I ordered afternoon teas for me and my wife as a treat for her birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was nicely prepared on a tray with very tasty sandwiches, sausage roll, and sweet treats of strawberry tarts and brownies. The portions were an excellent size. All we had to do was add tea and champagne for a super birthday tea. I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a first class treat.

I want to thank you for the surprise meal which was delivered for my birthday. As dining out is not an option at the moment this was a brilliant alternative. The food was superb and of a high standard. My husband is a coeliac and his need for gluten free was catered for. We thoroughly enjoyed each course. It was amazing ..a delightful experience on my milestone birthday.

We received a variety of quiche, pork pies, scotch eggs and finger sandwiches , also did a gluten and dairy free option for my mum and not to mention the cakes for afters. We absolutely love Bev's bistro. Bev' and Alan are so lovely and they are flexible and able to provide delicious food for every occasion and they make it really special. The bistro is fabulous for coffee and snacks as well as the special evenings they organise. During lockdown they have served amazing afternoon tea and meals for carry out and if you want special meals Bev is happy to deliver to your own house if its near the city centre. If you haven't been to Bev's you don't know what you're missing. It's time to support small businesses who provide excellent service and who go over and above. ♥️

If I could give 7 Stars I would.
Me and my now Wife got Bev and Allan to do our catering for our WEDDING. At first we were going to have it at the bistro but along came lockdown 2 for Aberdeen so we held it at our garden.
Bev was so flexible it amazed us. she quickly changed the menu to suit our plans for the garden, She still made all the food we required and done a total of 3 runs to garden to make sure all our food was hot and perfect for all of us. Our wedding cake was also done by Bev and by the next day we had no cake left as everyone was wanting 3rds and 4ths it was that good.
we had for nibble:
sausage rolls, strawberry soup, dipping bread and quiche.
Starter,
pizza crumpets and jacket potato soup
main,
chicken and beef with onion potatoes carrots and green peas
desert,
Bevs signature Freshly sourced Strawberry Tarts and stick toffee pudding with sticky toffee sauce and ice cream.
I cannot recommend Bev highly enough for her cakes, food or her services.

Compact and bijou dining area, but huge plaudits for the food. Great venue for a simple cup of excellent coffee, and a fantastic choice of freshly prepared meals. Must make special mention of the amazing strawberry tarts, they are to die for 👍.
We ordered a celebration meal for my wifes birthday and from the starters through to the deserts the meal was superb.
Great care was taken to prepare the food in a way that made the process of collection easy and then to cook /re heat once home if required.
I would definitely recommend Bev`s Bistro, so for anyone who hasnt tried it yet support local and give it a go.....
I was recently gifted a box of mixed flavour brownies from Bev’s Bistro. They arrived in the post beautifully presented, fresh, and looking delicious. I can honestly say they are the best brownies I’ve ever had! All the flavours were delicious - the chocolate orange brownie in particular was out of this world!
