An independent coffee shop - great staff & service - a bit of chat which is so nice when you usually only get a grunt!!! Almond cake & mocha was delicious- will definitely be back....

Have been in a couple of times for a milkshake and cake with my children and liked it very much. Treated myself to a panini there yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. I had taken my daughter in for a treat after her dancing exam and she had the lovely chocolate cake with ice cream. She scoffed the lot. A bit pricey but worth it.

I had an incredible experience at Union Café & Bistro. The service was top-notch, with an exceptionally friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The food was beyond amazing – I tried their eggs benedict and Bacon bap, both of which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Supporting this local gem is a must, and I can't wait to return for another delightful dining experience.

Lovely place to stop for a delicious coffee, and in my case, some French toast too. The reason for my not giving 5 stars is the entrance. I managed to attract the attention of a customer to unlock the second part of the door to allow my wheelchair in, although the waitress did also spot me. It was whilst leaving I realised the concrete used to build a makeshift ramp was so steep that had I not tilted my chair back, I would have fallen out. Perhaps they can find a way of extending it, although I am fully aware it may be tricky. It won't prevent my stopping by again for some reasonable priced excellent coffee though!!

One of the few cafe's to open @ 9:00...(not 10:00), and you could tell by the crowd inside and out. It's a smaller, but quaint cafe, with nice window seating to gaze out at that rare sunshine and help seat the surging patrons entering at 0915! . Our service was quick, the food (eggs Benedict and banana pancakes), delicious, and the coffee, even better! We'll be back, next time @ 0905!

Very polite staff, great food especially Mushroom Soup . It's always busy and is a venue for dancing in the evenings. I have had breakfast twice here in two years and it is in the top 5 of my list in Aberdeen. Coffee here is excellent. The menu is diverse and everything is made to a high standard.

Very nice place to have your breakfast in the morning and lunch in Aberdeen city center. Good coffee and wider range of drinks. Friday's nights you can come along and have salsa dance with a good music and atmosphere.

Quiet little cafe. Staff were friendly and food was good. Interesting atmosphere with parts of the old wall showing along one side. Theres some booths to sit at but they do take away as well. The Ceasar Salad was excellent, but the pan cakes we felt were slightly over priced. Still, was an enjoyable experience as the main street is just filled with the usual coffee franchises.

Was looking for somewhere to stop during a cycle and found this place with a bike stand outside, was able to enjoy my lunch while watching my bike and passers by through the window the two guys serving where friendly and efficient and the spicy soup just what I needed on a cooler day after a ride. Good to see independent cafes on union street not just large chains.

Nice place to rest a moment. I had a Chai latte and it was very delicious. They have tables and booths and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Orders under 10 quid must be paid in cash.

I was there in early December 2022 when it was snowing for the 1st time, definitely a perfect place to enjoy a cup of hot drink at the heart of this lovable city, cozy interior, so much easy to access from everywhere, the food was great, not to mention their warmth service as well ❤

Walked past here a few weeks ago and decided to try it. Came back with my youngest daughter on an afternoon, first impression was quiet clean cafe, menu is good lots of choice, all day breakfast was the choice, cooked fresh. Was a good breakfast (black pudding was a bit thin) tasty and well cooked. Staff (2 guys) were pleasant and efficient. While we were there had quite a few customers mostly for coffee but did have a woman and her son (about 13) came in and asked to use the toilet!!! She was shown to the toilet and never bought anything or even said thank you when she left. Will come back here again. Well done guys…..

Wonderful breakfast! This was our first place to try a "full Scottish breakfast" and it was great. Everything was cooked just right, and I'm not sure I've ever had better mushrooms. Their black pudding is great. My favorite menu item was the porridge - perfectly warm and sweet. Combined with the gentle ambiance and friendly staff, this was a really great experience and a great way to start the day.
