Really Nice Diner. Considered going for a long time, but no menu online made us stay away. Covid & Flu jab today, so decided to try as only 5 mins from old John Lewis building. We were really impressed with the food, the staff & the feel of the place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Cheese
The City Bar & Diner, in my opinion, is one of Aberdeen’s hidden food gems. The team are absolutely lovely, but it’s not just them who make the venue exceptional. The food the kitchen team is serving up is very impressive and what I love most is the creativity of the different dishes. What you envis
I visited that place by accident because we had our connection flight canceled. We picked this place and were really under big impresion of quality of food, way of serving it, tastes. Service was really good and I can only say good words about the place !
5 stars for this lovely venue. We have been lucky to be welcomed by a kind, professional and friendly member of staff who made sure we had a great experience at the City Bar. Incredible food!! By far the best meal we have had while in Scotland. The burger was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth while the curry was absolute perfection! Between the wait staff and chef we had a great experience and would recommend this as a go to dinner spot without hesitation!
This place is a hidden treasure! The food is always lovely and Poly is always friendly and attentive, remembering what you drink, etc. I tried the ham and eggs this time, and it was excellent, it's now my new favourite dish. I only wish I could visit more often!
Visit mainly in mornings. Service always friendly and efficient. Breakfast menu is tasty and well cooked with good selection of cooked brekkies and morning rolls. Not tried pancakes yet but sure they're good. Nice choice of seating tables or comfy seats and couches
All enjoyed our lunch had a good catch up with everyone
Cracking fresh food, great breakfast. Fast, friendly and efficient service in a relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced for great food.

Just had a great evening meal here and it was amazing Polly was a great front of house all was spot on. When we return to Aberdeen we will be back. 😀😀👍
Nice restaurant and excellent staff , not expensive and great food at realistic prices , small and large portions available. Fish and chips with a light tempura like batter was fantastic , go on treat yourselves it's well worth a visit. Only downside , no draught beers or cider ?
Really nice place, food I had was tasty. Clean and welcoming
My 2 friends and I had an great afternoon tea this afternoon. Food was freshly made and the gluten free option was fantastic. The service was excellent. Really the best afternoon tea (and we have had a few) we have had. Thank you The City Bar and Diner.
Although we had a bit of a wait as they were busy, the staff were attentive and professional. The food I selected was good and filled me up and I felt that it was reasonable priced too.
Fabulous food, wonderful service, can't fault
