We’ve been to Selera twice in the last two weeks and we plan to go again for dinner with friends. It’s a family run restaurant and they serve great Malaysian food. And good value for money as well. I’ve read some of the other reviews… people mentioning that service is slow. We never had any problems. Also, bear in mind that it’s a family run place, only recently opened. They do not have years of experience running a restaurant. Give them a chance :)
The food was so delicious!! We ordered fried noodles with seafood and rice with chicken. Staff were friendly. Even though we only had one day in Aberdeen we enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly as well as chatty staff in this little restaurant/ bistro in the city centre.
I have never tried Malaysian before so it was a new and good experience. I think, that the food was different but good.
The service was top notch and the tea with ginger and honey just tastes incredibly good.
Nice place with freshly prepared food and drinks. We had little disappointment with long wait (1h) for our food. Owner come out and apologise for long waiting time.
We recieved complementary deserts and after all everyone was happy.

- Strategically located near Union St.
- Close to St. Nicholas Lane’s famous murals.

Great food and good atmosphere.
Staff is very friendly and explain menu in detail.
We had Ikan Bakar with chilli soy sauce and Nasi Goreng. Lovely!
Really nice - reminder of my trips to KL. Portion sizes are reasonable so try a few small plates. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back soon.
We went thete to have a Malaysian food dinner. Very satisfactory. Owner is very friendly. Food also taste good. Thanks for the experience. Picture is the remaining of the 'kari kepala ikan'.
This is going to be my new favourite place in Aberdeen. I love malaysian cuisine, the food here is delicious and the staff lovely. 💗 I would definitely recommend this place 👍
The taste Good enough if we consider this is in Aberdeen, we cannot expect the taste will be same in Malaysia. The place is good and clean
