Old Blackfriars - Aberdeen - Photo album

I'm a Guinness fan and this place was a must for me. The decor of the place is stunning - as for this type of bars, it is very clean and all the tables and furniture are as new. Friendly service and delicious beer.
Quaint old pub in a nice historical area of Aberdeen. Steak pie looked great.
What an awesome spot. Great music, wide beer selection, and the food was fabulous. Went back later in the evening for traditional scotish country music.
I visited the place twice within a week with colleagues while we were in Aberdeen for a conference. Both times were great: great food, fantastic service. Particularly the waitress was absolutely amazing. The second time we visited, there was an accident or some sort, with ambulances arriving (do not
I often go to Old Blackfriars with my fiends. The food, staff, price of drinks and atmosphere is great. We can sit for hours catching up in the place. My favourite dishes are fish and chips and Katsu chicken burger. I highly recommend the pub. If you've not been yet, it is a must!
Pleasant evening spent in here. Decent size pub, nice inside and tv screen (football on at the time). Good choice of drinks and decent food menu. Bar staff were very friendly
Pleasant pub with a very high level of cleanliness. It felt fresh and the food and drinks were just what we were looking for at the time. Awesome Chicken Tikka and a good enough fish and chips. The house red was perfectly drinkable!
I've been three times and gotten the fish and chips twice, which was really good, and the steak and ale pie the third time, which was amazing, even though we could tell it wasn't made there, just reheated. I was surprised the cheesecake wasn't made in-house as it was really one of the best I have ha

Lovely pub . Great food and choice of drinks. Have been here many times over the years and never fails to satisfy
Nice pub. I tried a burger andI liked it very much. It's flavour was mouth full and complete, it didn't give the feeling that something was missing. The patty the onions, everything waw well cooked and balanced. also the bottom bread was not soggy from the sauce, a problem I have met to other burger
An old building from the 1670s originally domiciled by Dominican monks, the Order of Preachers founded in Toulouse, the pub reeks of history and has fine stained glass windows, the pub ground floor is set at three different levels with plenty of comfortable seating, a pleasant welcome is given as yo
