Yesterday we enjoyed a fabulous Graduation Meal. We had a fabulous day & our meal at Miller & Carter was the perfect compliment to our day - a truly lovely meal :) The welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable & attentive service from the staff, & in particular Greg, was exceptional. We were made to feel most welcome, unrushed & valued - & Greg even took a couple of pictures for us. The various starters were perfect (mushrooms, scallop & prawns) & our Main courses, all rib eye steaks, were some of the best we've ever had - & great sauces, fries & onion dish . The deserts were just as good, chocolate brownies proving the no 1. Great wines too :), the four of us all had a large glass of something different. All in all a fabulous meal in relaxed and welcoming surroundings, perfect for our celebration. Would highly recommend it, & we will be back ....
Our first visit at Miller and Carter tonight was a pleasure. From the ease of booking online to receiving a reminder text. Upon being seated our server for the night was Maciek. He took our drink order and was back in 5 minutes to take our order. Maciek was a great help guiding us thru the menu without being overbearing. We both chose the Calamari. Great first choice for us both. Hubbie opted for the 12oz Ribeye - cooked to perfection with all sides as per order. An extra side of lobster and prawn. Yumm. I opted for the chicken experience wow it was definitely that. Moist tender boneless half chicken with gray to die for cheese and sweetcorn patty and perfectly cooked poached egg. Fries i could not eat as i was too full. Maciek did warn me it was a big portion. Boy was he right. Desert was Chocolate hazelnut bombe. Beautifully presented while i was so full i opted for coffee and mini desert. Couldn’t ask for a better server tonight Maciek your a . Thanks for all your help. A credit to Miller and Carter. Cant wait for our next visit. Keep up the good work to all that work there.
First time here and definitely not the last.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and laid out.
The staff are clearly well trained, fully explaining everything that was available and to a full extent.
The server was really good, I forgot her name, but young girl from Ukraine, always made sure we had what we needed and ran through everything we ordered to confirmed. Clearly the staff go through good training.
It was a busy Thursday, I mean it was full, which is a good sign.
The food was fantastic and was unique in taste and quality and the choices and options were varied.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The cost was good considering what you are getting, yes you pay a little more but get a lot more for it.
Even though it was so busy, still managed to get served in a reasonable time.
The steak was cooked to perfection.
Just back from a fantastic evening. We ordered the sharing butcher's block and some starters. Megan had the garlic mushrooms and I had the calamari... With cheesy garlic bread to share. Our eyes were maybe bigger than our bellies but it was delicious!
Our server, Rory, was lovely. Very friendly and attentive and come across as passionate about wanting us to have a great experience... And we did.
The steaks were perfect. A real treat and the peppercorn and dripping sauces were spot on!
Title: A Superb Sunday at Miller & Carter Aberdeen
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment we stepped foot into Miller & Carter Aberdeen, the ambiance radiated warm and inviting vibes, setting the perfect stage for our Sunday outing.
One cannot review this place without giving due credit to our server, Greg. His professional yet personable approach amplified our dining experience. He was prompt with service, attentive to our needs, and offered insightful suggestions that proved his knowledge about the extensive menu. We felt well looked after by him.
As for the Sunday menu, it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. The variety was ample, catering to different palates. We relished each bite, from the succulent roast meats to the sumptuous sides and delectable desserts.
The restaurant's commitment to quality was apparent in every dish. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were balanced, and the presentation was enticing. Our meal was not just eaten, but thoroughly enjoyed and savored.
In a nutshell, our visit to Miller & Carter Aberdeen was a sublime blend of excellent service, delightful atmosphere, and delicious food. We're already looking forward to our next visit and hoping to be served by the commendable Greg again. This place definitely deserves a five-star rating and is highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
We had the wonderful early dinner menu and enjoyed a main course and dessert at a reasonable price. They even substituted my dessert as I need to eat gluten-free. So tasty and great value 😋
The food was amazing. Service was great. Rory was attentive and went the extra mile with a special plate for the birthday girl. The restaurant were very good at accommodating our request for a quieter spot for my son and we were seated at a booth. Would highly recommend and already planning our next visit 5*. Pudding was fab and we left totally full. Brilliant value for the level of service and quality of food.
Came here at the weekend from Edinburgh, we were child free so wanted a nice, more expensive meal. We had never been before and we're not disappointed!!!! Rory was our waiter and he was fantastic. Talked us through the menu, gave us a run through of the best sellers and what he would recommend. We went for a starter, which even that was beautiful. The main my partner got steak, I got a rump of lamb both with dauphinois potatoes and veg, they were both lovely and 10/10. We had a few cocktails each I recommend the coconut and raspberry crush if you like coconut!!!!! It was gorgeous. Dessert for me was banoffee pie and my partner had the ice cream and cookie. Everything was 10/10. Service was great and quick considering how busy it was.
Elegant atmosphere, amazing food and super friendly staff. Although, we had our dinner at a busy time, everything was just perfect! If you have a sweet tooth like me, I highly recommend the creme brulee. It was scrumptious.
We had a fantastic meal here. We ordered starters then the butchers block to share, it was out of this world. All the cuts of meat were cooked beautifully and the sides and sauces were fabulous. The cocktails were great too.Our server was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Great meal and night out
I think the service was really impressive. The courtesy of the person who attended to us, and the timely arrival of the meal👌. I think the person that attended to us was Greg. He was very fast with orders, polite and struck friendly conversation which was really nice too.
Amazing place, highly recommend! Food, atmosphere and service couldn’t have been better. Laura was our waitress and she was so so lovely!! Big credits to her for making the night even better. Asked us about a special occasion- which was me and my partners anniversary. And for our deserts she had “ happy anniversary “ wrote on our board. Again highly recommend:)
Excellent food! Welcoming, friendly and very professional staff! Loved every dish but the beef Mac & Cheese was my absolute favourite! Pricing is very reasonable!
Received a gift voucher from our daughter and son in law. First time we have been here and it won't be the last. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Lunch at Miller and Carter. Rump steak was delicious with beef dripping. Side order of mushrooms, greens and mac and cheese. Service was great. Lovely relaxing atmosphere
Lovely restaurant, great staff. Would've given 5 stars but my steak was luke warm and I don't get the lettuce wedge... 🤔
Our waiter was just excellent. He couldn’t have done more for us. He was pleasant, friendly, attentive and helpful. He even arrange a birthday plate for me. Our steaks were top quality and overall it was just an outstanding meal. Our seating was also excellent. Nice and quiet.
Probably the friendliest waiters in all of Scotland! Shoutout to Dan!
We had the following:
starters: calamari, which was amazing, I have never had one which was so tender! the sauce was soo refreshing no idea what it‘s made of, maybe lemon and some whipped cream or something but it‘s absolutely perfect with the calamari. we also had the smoked salmon, totally delicious! The bread that comes with it is also amazing!
mains: T-bone and additional lobster, Sirloin. Both with the side salad, sauteed greens, chips, lettuce. Not cheap but worth it!
dessert: creme brulee, which was delicious as well.
drinks: red wine, and TRY THE ORANGE SPRITZs as a drink while you wait for your food or with the starters!
Went here for lunch with husband, 3 teenagers and my husband’s mum and granny. Service was attentive and courteous. Rory was a friendly and knowledgeable server. Food was all served together and piping hot. We had fish and chips, half rack of ribs, grilled chicken breast and steak sandwich off the lunch menu. Everything was delicious. We were not rushed and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere as well. Highly recommend as the value lunch (2 courses for £16.95 or 3 for £19.95) was well worth it.
We discovered this excellent restaurant during a trip to Aberdeen and we were not disappointed. The reviews are accurate, and we had a great time.
Greg was amazing! He took the time to explain us the Menu and suggest different dishes. The flavour was excellent and the wine selection was good too. The place is cozy.
Definitely not the last time.
